Summary
The second son of the Mins shall marry the second son of the Kims at sunset on the 21st birthday of the younger. Prior to that, they shall meet each summer solstice for eight hours, chaperones present, of course, and at no other time then that. They shall be allowed to exchange letters and portraits in between so that they may know each other. The treaty that maintains the peace demands that it is so.
Their marriage may be required by treaty but the Mins and the Kims are determined that their children shall marry well and that their marriages shall be full of joy.
So Min Yoongi grows up knowing that one day he will marry Kim Namjoon. This is the story of how two boys turn into two men who look to the day when they are to be married with joy, not sorrow. And with a deep appreciation for modern technology allowing them to live by the letter of the law and not the spirit.
