Summary
This flimsy Dishonored AU is a writing exercise in the form of a first-person story telling the tales of an individual living in the coastal city and capital of Serkonos: Karnaca. Adjustments have been made to the environment and locations to bring a tangible sensation to the city and put it into the hands of the reader. For all intents and purposes, please know that some of the events of Dishonored have not occurred within a general timeline that is applicable to the game series. The universe and characters from the series have been used and bastardized in this work to suit a creative writing experiment. It is posted here mostly for archival purposes and for sharing purposes.
The main character is one of my own making and structure. Additional Canon characters should generally be rather canon in personality and demeanor for the most part. There may be mild adjustments in accordance with the development of this part of the multiverse.
If it feels a little like an autobiography and that the character in question is speaking to you, then that's good. I accomplished at least that. Let yourself be spoken to through this work in order to experience the work with the proper body and fulfillment it offers you.
