Summary:

Drew and Mitchell are getting ready for a party. Piper is an annoying little sister.

Work Text:

—Is this outfit too slutty?

—Yes.

—Perfect.

Mitchell’s laughter was drowned by the sound of Drew’s bedroom door being bursted opened.

Drew left her red lipstick on her vanity table and turned around on her chair to scowl at her younger sister.

—Gosh, Piper! You can’t just come into my room like that! I’ve told you a million times!

—What are you two doing? —She asked, completely ignoring her sister’s question as she went to sit on the bed.

—We’re going out, obviously.

—You can’t go out —Piper gave her that smartass look that thirteen-year old girls seemed to master at that age and made them absolutely insufferable—. Mom said you’re grounded.

—Mom can’t ground me —Drew turned back towards the mirror and resumed doing her makeup—. I’m an adult now.

—You’re seventeen.

—Yes, but I already have a job; that makes me an adult. Also, mom isn’t here, and neither is Silena, so I’m the oldest one in this family now. I’m in charge.

—No, the babysitter mom left with Oli and Val is in charge.

—The three of them are very much asleep by now; I've already checked —Drew rummaged through her makeup bag until she found her favorite blush—. We’re going out and you can’t stop us.

Piper took her phone out of her jean's pocket, an irritating smile appearing on her lips.

—Maybe not, but I can call mom.

—She won’t pick up —Drew began carefully applying the blush on her cheekbones—. She’s at that party on the Dare’s yacht; she doesn’t have reception.

—Are you willing to take that risk, sis?

Drew looked at Mitchell, who had been silently doing his eyeliner next to her, through the mirror. He looked back at her and subtly shook his head, so she sighed and turned around, one more time, to face Piper.

—Okay, little shit, what do you want?

—I have a game tomorrow. As you know, I am-

—The captain of Sierra Canyon’s volleyball team —Drew finished for her—. Yes, sweetie, we know. You mention it like five times a day. We are all very proud of you.

—Shut up. So, tomorrow we have a game against Immaculate Heart and-

—Wait —Drew interrupted her sister once again—. Isn't that your friend’s team? You know, that blonde one? What was her name?

—Annabeth Chase —Piper answered through gritted teeth—. And she’s not my friend! She's the captain of our rival team! She’s my archenemy!

Drew snorted.

—Sure thing, honey.

—I’m dead serious! —Piper stood up from the bed and began pacing the room, as she gesticulated emphatically—. I can’t stand her, she thinks she’s so smart and good at everything and she has the biggest ego! She’s so unbearable!

Drew and Mitchell exchanged a knowing, amused look through the mirror.

—Right… So you don’t have a little crush on her then?

—Are you insane??? —Piper put a horrified expression on her face, but it was far too exaggerated for it to be genuine—. Didn’t you just hear what I said?!? I despise her!!! She thinks she’s so amazing with her princess curls and tanned legs and using all those fancy Greek words and calling me her “nemesis” and... ugh, she’s so exasperating! I would never have a crush on someone like her!

—Okay, baby, whatever you say —Drew shrugged, casually, as she looked for her setting spray in her bag—. Just know that, if you ever change your mind, you’ll have an easy target on her. An all girls, private, catholic school? The kid must be dying to rebel a little and try on some forbidden lady kisses.

—Shut up, shut up, shut up! —Piper covered her ears with her hands—. Why are we even talking about her?

—You mentioned your game tomorrow-

—Right! —She uncovered her ears and walked over to Drew, leaning her hips against the side of her vanity table—. When we win, I want to take my team to McDonalds. So, if you don’t want me to say anything to mom now, you’ll give me a hundred dollars.

—A hundred dollars?!? —Drew coughed, though it was probably because of the spray she had just inhaled—. What are you gonna order, the salmon burguer??

—We are twelve members, counting me, and we get pretty hungry after playing.

—I’m not giving you a hundred dollars, hon.

—Okay, ninety then.

—No.

—Eighty.

—No.

—Seventy.

—Sixty and that’s my last offer.

Piper seemed to consider it for a few seconds.

—Okay, I’ll take it.

—Mitch, love, pass me my wallet please.

Mitchell did as he was asked. Drew took a couple of bills out of her wallet and handed them over to Piper.

—Here. Now get out of my room.

—Thanks, sis! —Piper happily accepted the money and pocketed it—. Pleasure doing business with you.

She began walking towards the door, but Drew stopped her before she could get out.

—Wait, Pipes.

—Yeah?

—What time is your game tomorrow?

—Four o'clock.

—Okay. We’ll be there, right, Mitch?

—Wouldn’t miss it for the world, babe.

Piper gave them a big, pleased smile that no longer had any traces of annoyance.

—Cool. I'll save you a couple of seats. Have fun tonight!

—Oh, we will.

Their younger sister laughed right before getting out of the room and closing the door behind her.

—She's a pain in the ass —Complained Drew, as she got up from her chair and sprayed some perfume on her neck.

—Don’t act like you don’t love her —Said Mitchell, standing up as well—. Is my eyeliner even on both sides?

Drew took a good look at him and then nodded.

—Yes, sweetie, it’s perfect —She looked for her flap bag and put her wallet inside before hanging it on her shoulder—. Are you ready? Do you have everything with you? Phone, money, fake ID?

—Yes, yes and yes.

Drew took one last look at herself in the mirror and smirked.

—Let’s go, then. I urgently need to find a hot girl to make out with.
