Work Text:
The inspiration behind this work.
It was a normal, standard, and overly boring job, tossing all the fallen leaves from the basket he carried into the furnace to be burned. This servant of the Joestar estate couldn't complain. What was not so normal was the noble looking woman in front of the furnace, petting Jonathan Joestar's dog Danny. The servant's eyes drifted up her arm to roam across the rest of her just incredible body. Certainly not a type of dress appropriate for going outside, in fact just not appropriate at all! The last piece of her appearance was more striking then her body however; her face. She looked exactly like Dio might have if he applied woman's makeup just like this woman, needless to say that Dio already almost resembled a girl despite his boyish voice. Seeing someone like this was just... bizarre.
Though, for all dislike Dio was said to hold for dogs, this woman seemed like the opposite. This being that Danny was being so polite and standing tall next to her, without being the rambunctious animal he usually was.
The servant found his tongue choking, wondering if he shouldn't speak up to allow himself a few more seconds to ogle the amazingly beautiful woman that stood before him. However, the decision was made for him in a way, when he finally noticed the woman had turned her head towards him, an enchanting smile that hid her teeth. For just a moment more, the servant allowed himself to get lost in such a look, but then got down to business.
"H-Hello Madam, may I ask what your business is here?" After all, they didn't hear from the master that anyone was planned to arrive today. In fact, how did she get here? He certainly didn't hear any carriages, or even a horse ride up. Surely a noble looking woman like her didn't walk all the way.
"I am Diana Brando, a relative of Dio Brando, the sister to his father Dario Brando. I learned of Dio's existence not too long ago and made haste from a distant land to unite with the blood of family I thought lost to me." Her voice was just as enchanting as her smile. He's heard of silk's smoothness, but her siren like voice goes beyond even what he ever could have possibly imagined! "Would you help me to Lord Joestar? It wouldn't be proper of me to just enter the mansion by myself."
The servant nodded, quickly coming over to the woman to guide her towards the front doors. Danny followed the two, trotting ahead like an honor guard.
"I sent a letter notifying my date of arrival, but it seems it was lost on its way here. But you know how it is, how things can find themselves in places they're not supposed to be." Diana looked back towards the furnace.
"Well, I'm sure Lord Joestar, and Dio especially will be happy to hear about you!" Taking a quick glance the same place Diana was, the servant noticed the furnace door was open. How curious, he would have to shut it quickly so none of the leaves he threw in from earlier would blow out. "Just a moment, Miss Brando, I must close the furnace door before leaving it unattended, you understand."
Quickly, the servant walked over to the furnace to close the door. How odd, a busted wooden crate was inside. He sure doesn't remember putting that inside. Must have been some other servant passing by while he was distracted. Closing it was a simple matter, and soon the servant guided Diana Brando inside to meet Lord Joestar, the man who adopted her "nephew."
