Love Advice for Lee Adama, Poem #2
Did you know?
Even if she were normal,
You would not be enough.
No one is
At the beginning.
And not at the end.
You’d let love change you
Into what you’d become,
Preferring it to everything
You no longer remember.
The wrong girl
Smooths you dull,
But you’d be too polished to care.
The right one
Would cut you,
And facet a jewel from your heart.
