I See You

Summary:

Toast didn't peg himself to be a people guy if his constant injuries were to say anything. So when he moved into a haunted house in hopes to be killed by a serial killer or sum, he finds a different company with him.

Or an AU where Sykkuno is a ghost and only Toast can see him because he's the #1 Sykkuno simp in another lifetime.

Also AU idea by CyanWander on twt, the first few chapters are depicting their illustrations but the story develops from there

Chapter Text

Toast has always been a blunt person, especially towards people that he doesn't like. Which may cover more than half of his class...

"Tsk... you really cannot mind your own business can't ya? If you're such a white knight then you can take a beating can't you?"

Toast narrows his eyes and stood his ground.

"Felix!"

The group of guys that were about to rain bruises on his already bruised face ran away as Mr Wilson came in to save them.

"Toast! Are you alright?"

Toast nods with pursed lips which hurt a little from the bleeding.

"This is...?"

Toast moves aside and behind him was a girl that was cowering behind him.

"Lily Pichu.... she irked them by standing in front of their locker..." Toast explains.

"I see... they are retaining students yet they are still this vulgar... I'll have a word with them, stay out of trouble alright?"

Toast nods as Mr Wilson left the direction of the office. He doesn't look back and starts to leave when Lily grabs his sleeves. He looks back at her impassive.

"T-thank you..." Lily mutters.

"Don't mention it." Toast replies before pulling her hand away and walking ahead.

He had already had a bad fall from his fight yesterday, he was tired and didn't want to get into trouble but Felix and his friends are really bored and that was not good for anyone that crosses their path.

However, he has his fair share of fights initiated by him therefore never told a teacher about it. Mr Wilson just so happens to be there yesterday not knowing he was the one that threw the first punch.

He should probably use his energy on unpacking however. It was a new year, a new school, a new apartment, he spent no time unpacking at all.

A funny story about the flat he lives in, many said that it was haunted and someone used to die there. But it was the cheapest flat he could find around the neighbourhood and he is living off freelance money.

Not that he was frugal with his money but he isn't going to spend all his life savings on a house.

Has he regretted it yet? No...

He enters the house and turns on the lights. A guy that looks the same age as him with a dark green jacket looks at him with a smile.

"Oh Welcome!" He beams.

Toast places his shoes neatly at the side," so... you're that ghost that lives here huh..."

"Eh?"

If anyone were to see from the outside, it seems like he's talking to nobody. But he could see him, not a solid one but... a slightly translucent one.

"Haha... um... I didn't expect someone to be-" the door clicks shut," -here..."

"Well! You're stuck with me until I graduate so deal with it," Toast talks as if he was the ghost.

Laughter sounded through his ears.
