   Summary

   Edward can't get out of bed. Edward can't do anything. Edward drags Blackbeard up every evening, next to a window or up on desk, and forces Blackbeard to gaze to the sky. Edward can't stop remembering. Edward can't stop wondering what happened. Edward is still on a dinghy in the middle of the ocean, rowing away from land, hoping that a familiar face will pop up. Edward is still hoping. Edward can't stop rowing, and his boat never reaches land.

    

    

   Edward is pathetic. It's okay. Blackbeard forces him down every morning and tries to shove him down far enough that he doesn't show through the cracks.
