Summary
Hinata Hajime is a financially down on his luck private investigator living in Hope's Peak City when the murder of beloved celebrity, Maizono Sayaka, sends Japan into an uproar. Being one of the only, if not the only PI in his relatively small city, he is hired and tasked to solve the mystery of her death. He must work with Nagito Komaeda, an ex-convict, who's involvement in the case is not what it seems, Akamatsu Kaede, his employer, and Maizono's former bandmate who knows more than she appears to, and many others- all of whom seem to be hiding a secret. Little does he know; he is now entangled in a dangerous game that goes far beyond Maizono's death and involves the destiny of the entire world.
