Work Text:
The Angel had tracked his Prey but he wasn't blinking. Why wasn't he blinking?
Why did... why did he seem familiar to the Angel?
The other had taken a quick look around to try and spot any behind him. But the Angel was alone. Always alone.
But the Angel took a few more steps closer uncovering his eyes a bit as the other was backing himself into a wall.
Why was he wearing those? Those... those weren't right. There was no way He would be caught dead in that.
And the hair was wrong... it was... it was a different color wasn't it. A striking red color...
And his eyes...
Oh! He blinked again as he stepped closer ever so much more closer to him.
His eyes were also all wrong.
What happened to serpent slits? What happened that beautiful amber color? Brown hair, brown eyes... this was all wrong.
But he needed to get closer.
He wanted to touch. But not to send him away.
Why?
The Doctor had pressed against the wall as he made the mistake of turning around to look before looking back and jumping in fear. Both of his hearts beating rapidly.
The Weeping Angel was so close now arms outreached, mouth open in a snarl, no... A cry of anguish. Was those... tears? Why would it be crying. Why hadn't it sent him back to the past yet.
Why was it so familiar?
"...Angel?"
