Chapter Text
Matthew Murdock
Age: 24
Story:
Matt Murdock was born and lived most of his life in the poor side of the village. He wasn’t very fortunate.
At the age of 9, an illness had swept his vision away. It was very hard for young Matthew to navigate around, but his father helped him. He learned how to walk around normally again.
His mother had ran away when he was still a toddler and his father was killed in a duel. Matt was an orphan at the age of 12 and was swept up by a older man who took care of him until he abandoned him at the age of 13.
Matty wondered the village until one of King Wilson’s guards spotted him. Luckily, they were needing someone who could supply them a job. A stablehand that is.
Matt took the job immediately and was gratefully housed and fed at the Kingdom.
He was happy working for the royals. Of course, he had heard many things throughout his stay that haunts him at times. That was the only downfall to the whole job.
He could hear people being tortured and other things. Matt would often cry at night because of it. The young boy didn’t understand it, why the royals treated others so poorly at times.
It was at the age of 19 when he completely understood why. He wasn’t sheltered from the world like he thought he was, no. No, he just couldn’t see the world. If he did, he probably would have understood everything a bit better.
Reason why? Well, he could have understood why people were missing arms. Meaning that they stole.
Or why people were picked up and killed. Meaning that they had no meaning to life.
King Wilson was a cruel man, unlike his partner, Queen Vanessa. And Matt learned very easily of which one he favored.
Now, comes the present part.
Matt was 24. It was a hot summery morning when he got the call from one of Fisk’s henchmen to order Matt into the Castle to meet King Fisk and Queen Vanessa.
He wasn’t told why. So, he just had to find out himself.
