Summary
Theseus felt like he was going insane. There was no other explanation that made any sense.
He glanced behind him again and nearly tripped over his own feet in his haste. Though the area was familiar to him, there were streetlamps lit all around, and he could see the blue light box several dozen feet away, it didn’t make him feel any safer.
I am of sound mind, he thought to himself.
The tingling sensation suddenly sharpened, and then it felt like thousands of tiny insects crawled across his back. The hairs on the back of his neck stood up, goosebumps rose up on his arms, and the feeling of being watched intensified tenfold.
