"Why are you doing all this?" Lando's voice is soft and quiet. He picks silently at the Aston Martin hoodie he is wearing, Sebastian's scent filling his nose. It's comforting even if he's so confused over what's going on.
Sebastian had been spending more time with Lando of late. Waiting for him outside his garage to walk him to his hotel, bringing him his favourite food away from the eyes of his trainer, listening to the Omega talk when his anxiety got too much for him. Now the Alpha had handed him his Aston hoodie once it began raining heavily in the paddock and Lando had nothing to shield himself from the cold rain. They were now both in Sebastian's driver's room, listening to the storm outside.
"Why do you think I'm doing all this?" Sebastian questions, leaning against the counter as he watches the Omega.
Lando shrugs softly and makes himself some sweater paws, trying to make himself feel comforted. "I don't know. You're just so nice to me all of a sudden. I don't know why."
Sebastian utters a soft sigh and looks at the Omega in front of him, noting the small shoulders and the way Lando won't look at him. It's clear Lando isn't feeling very confident within this discussion. "Does any reason spring to mind?" He asks gently.
Lando shakes his head again, playing with the sleeves of the hoodie and Sebastian makes the softest sound.
"Lano."
Sebastian uses his affectionate nickname for Lando so fondly and so gently that he has no choice but to look up at the Alpha.
"Lando I'm courting you." Sebastian moves to take his hands, squeezing them gently.
Lando blinks up at the Alpha, his eyes sad and confused. "But…but why? I mean…I knew what you were doing but I don't understand why. Why me? Why not Lewis?"
Sebastian rumbles and nuzzles his nose against his cheek. "Because I want you. You make me laugh and smile. You make me want to wrap you up and protect you from everything. You're mine. I know you are. I want you. No one else."
Lando let's out a little whine, his scent starting to fill with something like happiness. He looks up at Sebastian and they're so close Sebastian is inches from leaning in to kiss him. But the ball is in the Omega's court and the Alpha stays still, letting Lando decide what he wants.
Lando is still for a moment but then he licks his lips and leans forward, stopping for just a moment before he kisses Sebastian.
Sebastian rumbles, soft and soothing and he gently cups Lando's cheek as he returns the kiss. Showing him without words how much he wants Lando as his mate.
Lando's hesitant kiss becomes more relaxed and his hands find purchase in his shirt, drawing the Alpha in closer as they kiss. His scent is filled with pure happiness. It makes Sebastian's own scent spike with his in return.
Lando was his. No one else could ever have him.
