Kokichi groaned as he tossed and turned in his bed, unable to get to sleep. It wasn't unusual for him, he slept when he could, but that wasn't often so he was always tired. Giving up, he rolled over and grabbed his phone from where it was charging on the bedside table, opening up the chatroom he had become all too familiar with over the past few months.

Kokichi placed his phone back on his bedside table and rolled back over in his bed. He really enjoyed talking to his friends in the chatroom, but he was worried some of them hated him.
Gokuhara Gonta was scary and mean to everyone. He hated people and nearly everything, especially bugs, killing them with every chance he got.
Yumeno Himiko could be rude but she was always tired, like Kokichi, so he understood. She hated talking to anyone other than Chabashira and Kokichi, but she could handle most people in their chatroom. Some thought Yumeno and Chabashira were in a secret relationship, but that couldn't be confirmed.
Saihara Shuichi was obsessed with Danganronpa, more specifically, Kirigiri Kyoko from Season 1, and he was kind of weird and protective of Kokichi, but the purplette ignored his behaviour, mainly because he wanted a friend. What Kokichi didn't know was that Saihara secretly cared for Kokichi, for now as best friends.
Amami Rantaro was neither friend nor foe to anyone. Kokichi and Amami got along well but Amami was the type to not trust people online fully, so the greenette had forbidden himself to get attached to anyone before meeting them. This was because his parents were protective of their only son. He had thirteen younger sisters, and lived a life of luxury, but didn't like to flaunt it.
Ouma Kokichi was as nice as possible to everyone, except when he made the occasional joke at someone else's expense, or when he was being sarcastic or condescending towards others (something he'd never do in person). He tended to be a very submissive person outside of the chatroom, always apologising for no reason and, although never over text, he had a slight stutter and habit of crying whenever he got emotional.
Chabashira Tenko liked to think she was the best at Neo Aikido, a form of martial arts she'd made up. From the videos she had sent to the chatroom, she was horrible at it, constantly tripping on her own two feet. She hated men, some referred to her as the 'Ultimate Feminist' due to the fact.
Momota Kaito was mean, but also mindless. He had a lot of conspiracy theories about space, like Earth being flat and moons were actually spaceships. He was sexist and homophobic, but it wasn't his fault due to his upbringing, and he was doing his best to change his ways, but he had to be reminded often to not say certain things.
Yonaga Angie was strange, probably because she was in a cult that her family ran. She was trying her best to get away from her family and was close to succeeding. She'd managed to sneak away to go to school and had a phone without her parents' knowledge, now all she wanted to do was find a home so she could live her own life.
Hoshi Ryoma never interacted with anyone much, he liked to keep to himself. It was often a mystery how he even got involved with the group, to begin with, but all anyone knew was that it sort of just happened. Everyone cared for Hoshi due to his depression, but no one babied him less they be tracked down and murdered by the small male.
Shinguji Korekiyo was very distant, he tended to hate people in general and seemed to have a hard time becoming friends with anyone. His parents left years when he was a child so he lived alone with his elder sister.
Akamatsu Kaede was another person in the chatroom who hated people, the only joy she found in life was in music. She was always talking about music with Saihara since they had the same taste. The two simped over Remington Leith and Andy Black so much that it was banned in the chatroom.
Harukawa Maki couldn't hurt a fly. Everyone loved her and she loved everyone, even if they were mean to her, she would do anything to help them out when they needed it. One thing she couldn't stand was violence, and any time people got violent or blood was involved, she would find herself quite nauseous.
Iruma Miu was obsessed with tinkering with things and loved inventing items. She often got in trouble for taking things apart to see how they worked. One thing she was most obsessed with was robots. Her sense of humour was quite crude and full of sexual innuendos, which landed her in trouble all the time.
Shirogane Tsumugi recently became the new mastermind for the 53rd season of Danganronpa and was looking for people to audition, leading her to join the chatroom full of Danganronpa enthusiasts. She didn't care much for people and therefore didn't make any relationships, not even with her family. Being able to manipulate and gas-light her way out of any situation, she never landed herself in fights despite how riled up she made others.
Tojo Kirumi was like everyone's mum. She'd always claimed to never care about anyone but she would find herself there for others when they were sad or going through a rough stage in life. Her parents were strict due to the rich lifestyle the generations had gone through, and Tojo was seen as a disappointment because she wanted to work for others instead of having others work for her.
And finally... Iidabashi Kiibo. He was raised in a rich family and worshipped robots, more specifically, being one himself. He'd always be found with two black lines from his lower eyelid to his jaw whenever he was awake. The one reason he wanted to be on Danganronpa was that he wanted a chance to be a robot since he was confident he'd survive the killing game and certainly knew how to fight off any attackers.
