"Stay still and let me take care of you."
"I'm fine, Loki! It's just a scratch, I - "
He winced as Loki grabbed his arm right where it was injured.
Loki raised an eyebrow. "Just a scratch? Show me."
"Loki-"
"Immediately!"
Loki pulled him over to the couch and sat down next to him.
Mobius began to unbutton his shirt sleeve but seeing him cringe, Loki pushed his hands away and began to pull the sleeve up. Then he began to remove the bandage.
Loki noticed that Mobius was biting his lips to keep from showing his pain. He raised his hand and put his thumb on Mobius' lip to pull it out from between his teeth.
He said softly, "Don't hurt yourself in order to hide your pain, love."
He pressed a light kiss to the bruised lips and continued to remove the bandage. This time Mobius did not hold back his whimper at the pain.
"The cut isn't big, but it's deep enough, I'll get what is necessary." He returned a few moments later.
Mobius hissed as Loki cleaned the wound and sighed with relief when the bandage was finished.
Loki gently rolled Mobius' sleeve back and pulled him against his chest, taking care not to put pressure on his wounded arm.
Running his hand through Mobius' hair, he whispered, "You don't have to be so brave when you're with me."
Mobius sighed, "I know..." he grabbed the hand in his hair and kissed it, "I'm just not used to it. I forget that with you I don't have to hide."
"Never. Show me everything about yourself. Even what you think is the most hideous, it won't stop me from loving you." replied Loki softly before taking his lips in a kiss that would convince him better than words.
