As they reach the Daycare exit, the guard glances back at Moon. “Did he really?” he questions, quietly. “Try and take her, I mean?”
Moon pauses, just long enough to keep his voice box carefully neutral, and answers, “Yes.”
“Hm.” The guard looks away again. “Bastard got what was comin’ to him, then.”
