Work Text:
From the very beginning, when Gura came home, and that was five hours ago, Amelia did not tear herself away from the monitor and joystick. Gura was very tired of this, but when she tried to call the detective, she did not even move her head. Resigned to this, she went to the kitchen to make herself some supper. Sitting in the kitchen, she could hear Amelia's frustrated cries and breaths from losing the game. So Gura sat in the kitchen for about half an hour, listening to the sounds of the detective. After a few minutes, the screams stopped. Gura heard steps in this direction and already began to think that Amelia had finally finished her game and could make time for her shark.
A blonde appeared at the door, walking inside. She walked over to the fridge, opening it and then scouring around for an energy drink. Gura noticed too black bags under her eyes, and she really did not like it.
"Ame." So unexpectedly and loudly says Gura, from which the detective twitches, but continues to search for her target. "Amelia Watson."
Gura repeats, this time her full name. It's too rare to hear her say her full name, Amelia. Therefore, the blonde has no choice but to turn to the shark.
"What?" She replies, but more quietly than expected and indifferently than one might expect. Gura looks at her with narrowed eyes. "Why are you looking at me like that? I did something wrong?"
"Can you stop playing dumb, Ame?" Gura purrs, and then in a sharp and serious voice says that goosebumps run down Amelia's back from such a change in the girl's mood. "How long have you been playing your games? Do you even realize that this will be bad for your health!"
"Gura." Amelia noisily opens a can of energy drink and takes a sip. "You know me. My health is stronger than the strongest wall in the world."
Apparently, what has been said does not change anything, Gura continues to look with a frown, and Amelia stands near the refrigerator, taking another sip. Such peepers continue for another five minutes, when Amelia's rival screams from the living room. The detective tells Gura that her name is and leaves the room. The sounds of shooting are heard again in the living room.
"That stubborn detective!" Gura grumbles, tossing the empty mug too hard into the sink. Her nerve cells won't survive to the end if Amelia continues to be so stupid and stubborn. "Maybe if I go to see what she is doing there, it will be clear to me and I will leave her behind?"
Gura comes out of the kitchen and notices Amelia, who quickly presses the joystick buttons. The victory flashes on her screen and she thanks her teammates for a great game. But of course this is not the end of her games, she continues the game and everyone agrees. Another round begins. Gura watches Amelia's serious face and how she tries hard to protect her teammates and take the lead of the round. As in her work and in games, Amelia is very serious, always thinks of a plan and gives commands that rivals follow.
"Gura, do you need something?" Amelia finally speaks when she notices the presence of another person in the room. Her gaze does not open from the screen, and when the enemy strikes, she tenses up.
"No, I'm just looking." Gura answers her, resting her chin on the back of the sofa. Amelia snaps back, continuing her game.
The round ends again with the victory of Amelia's team. Her teammates praise her for the work done and the solo victory she was able to do. Sometimes Gura wonders how Amelia doesn't get bored playing the same game. Maybe it's just interest.
Already half an hour of watching the game of the detective, Gura becomes bored again. It's already the sixth hour, and Amelia still does not open from the screen, it starts to enrage the Gura. An ideal plan is being built in her head, and she immediately begins to execute it. Putting her hands on the blonde's shoulders, she begins to shift them, hearing Amelia sigh in response.
"Gura, what are you doing?" Amelia says, her gaze still fixed on the screen, but she's distracted by the sudden touch. Gura leans in to her ear to whisper.
"Just a massage, you play, I won't bother you with it." Gura says, and a smirk appears on her lips as Amelia's ear turns red.
Then Gura lowers her hands to the end of the detective's shirt, lifting it up a little, thereby exposing her toned stomach. She runs her fingernail over her abs, hearing a muffled sigh in response.
This prevents Amelia from concentrating on the game. Her finger on the joystick is trembling, she misses her fingers, from which her death is displayed on the screen. But she does not stop there, and presses to continue the game.
This time Gura decides to act differently. Removing her hand from the blonde's stomach, she walked around the couch. Amelia gives her a quick glance, and returns to focusing on the game, scoring the correct point. Gura chuckles, standing in front of the detective.
"Gura, you're blocking the screen!" Amelia growls in annoyance, frowning at the sound that reminds her of losing. Starting the round again, she tries to look past the Gura, telling the teammates to rush the red team. "Gura-
Instantly Gura is on Amelia's lap. She no longer frowns, but is surprised at the shark, which is grinning at her. Amelia starts to dislike this, she guess.
"Gura, my game-"
"Your game can wait, but I can't." Gura interrupts her, bending down to kiss her on the cheek. She smiles when she hears Amelia telling her teammates to play without her. This is victory. Her victory.
"You know..." Amelia says mysteriously, and after a few seconds her hand, under Gura's sweatshirt, squeezes her thigh. She bends down to take the shark's lips in hers and whispers into them. "You're right, the game can wait."
Gura smiles triumphantly into the kiss. She wondered why she hadn't done it before. Probably thought too much, but now the detective is completely distracted from the game. And finally pays attention to her shark.
THE END
