"So.... How are you guys?" He was the one to break the silence after a long day of silence.
He waited, but there was no response.
They only looked at him, if he was a normal person, he would think it's a "don't fuck with me" glare. But no, their eyes... It looked hurt, a "please help me but I don't know how to tell you" look.
Seeing them like this, he didn't like it. He wanted the old energy back, even if Luffy, Usopp, and chopper's screams woke him up, even if Nami's blabbering about him always sleeping annoys him, even if that cook makes him mad for absolutely no reason at all, even if he gets creeped out by Robin's dark humor, even if Franky tests his new toys they would always target Zoro, he would do anything.
"I'm fine." The sniper said. "How about you?"
Well, it absolutely doesn't look like their sniper's fine. What could've happened?
"Zoro, if I'm just gonna sit here and wait for you to talk or tell us why we're here I'm just gonna go"
"Wait nami, don't go. I'll be back. Wait for me."
The other members only stared at him as he left the room. It was really unusual, even their noisy captain was dead quiet.
He went down to the men's room. (They were in the aquarium earlier.)
He went to each of their bunks to get some blankets and pillows.
He went to Luffy's bunk first, grabbed his blanket and-
He saw a picture of luffy, sabo and ace. Probably when Luffy was only 7. Zoro smiled at the picture. Maybe this was the reason. Luffy misses them.
He then heads over Usopp's. He noticed a book. With the title "Adventures of Captain Usopp" he also smiled at this, of course, their sniper would make something like this... But that was the case, usopp didn't made that. On the bottom of the book, there was a name. Kaya. The girl they met back in Syrup Village. He went through the pages. He saw usopp with the three kids who they also met. The book was basically Usopp's adventures in the village. Zoro wonders. Maybe usopp misses someone too. He sets the book down, back to the place where he found it.
He then went over chopper's. He wonders if he would also find something that made chopper like that. At first there was nothing until, he found a jar of cherry blossom petals.
It was very clear, they missed someone.
He went over the cook's and saw red foot zeffs cook book with a picture of them back when the cook was young.
He went over Franky's and saw a picture of water 7 with the Franky house. Zoro almost felt bad that they wrecked their house back then.
And then went over to brook's and saw the tone dial and absolutely knew. It was the recording of brook and the rumbar pirates' recording singing Binks sake.
He thinks he knows now.
He guessed the same for the ladies.
He saw robin reading a lot of books about Ohara, and saw nami looking at oranges most of the time.
He then went back to the aquarium since he got everything he needed.
"There." He placed them on the floor and started fixing it on where the members would sleep.
"What are you doing?" Robin asked.
"Nothing. Just lay here."
No one moved
"Now."
And they did.
Zoro also had one more thing but he needs permission to use it.
"Franky can I borrow your guitar?" He ask the man laying down the blankets Zoro layed.
"Yeah sure." Not minding the cold reply, Zoro grabbed the guitar.
"What? Are you gonna sing?" The cook asked.
"Wow I didn't know that brain of yours that knows nothing but girls actually acknowledges others" he jokingly said.
He earned a death glare from the cook, but he was too tired so he just layed back.
"I'm joking. And yeah. Why? You got a problem with that?"
"Nah"
And with that he started.
He started with a few chords and strums, the crew was surprised, who knew their cold hearted swordsman know how to play a guitar?
And he started;

His voice was gentle, not what you'd expect from a guy like Roronoa Zoro.
The crew then acknowledges his words.
Anxiety, tossing, turning in your sleep

They now knew where Zoro was getting with. He wanted to talk to them.
But, that can wait. Zoro's voice. The crew thoughts. When you meet him or fight with him, his voice is like a rock used to winter. But right now? It's like the sun, melting the snow away.
'We can talk here on the floor
On the phone, if you prefer

They didn't even care about their places anymore. They all went closer to the first mate. They didn't even knew he was like this. They're starting to think they're the luckiest crew in the world to have a first mate like him.
'Build a fire warm and bright
And the wind, it howls and bites
Bite it back with all your might'
Well, we're talking about Zoro. Everyone can agree that whenever he's there, they're safe.
'Anxiety, tossing, turning in your sleep
Even if you run away, you still see them in your dreams

After the last strum, and after Zoro layed the guitar somewhere, they all crashed to him, trapping him.
"Zoro!!!" Chopper said while crying
"Woah there buddy" he said while returning the hug to chopper.
"I can't believe you, you piece of moss." Sanji also said, well he would never admit, never in a million years but, "Thank you"
"Oh? What happened to you curly?" He chuckled.
he's not pretty sure what's going on now, all he can here is;
"ZOROOOO"
"THAT WAS SUUUPEEER OF YOU"
"ZORO-SAN IM CRYING RIGHT NOW"
"I guess I can lessen your debt, thank you, Zoro."
"Thank you"
He hears his name being called, he hears sobs, but he doesn't care. As long as the crew is right here, with him. There's nothing more he can ask for.
He then stands up pulling away from their hold.
"Zoro?" The captain said.
"Well I hope you guys are ready"
"Ready for what?" They said in unison.
"GROUP HUG!!!" he then launches himself to them.
"AAAAAAAAAH"
"You are now under attacked by pirate hunter Zoro!" Zoro said again while tickling and cuddling with them.
"Next time.... If you guys want, I'll sing you another song."
"WE'D LOVE THAT!" they also said in unison.
And a few minutes later, being there with each other, they finally sleep, feeling safe. With this crew on his side, he's ready to betray the whole world for them. They are his world after all. He wouldn't need two, just the sunny, and the beaming sun waiting for them tomorrow.
They all missed someone. What about Zoro? Zoro thinks he's immune to that. But, he'd never admit...well maybe for now, the only thing he missed asides his swords, is his crew. And the crew doesn't know that of course. He hopes, that one day... They'll know.
