Xisuma knew that the Watchers took Grian and Pearl. He could still see them in the shadows. “Explain,” he said addressing the End beings that took his Hermits. “Oh, of course,” one of them said. There were two of them, it was the taller one. “They’ve told you about Evo, correct?” “Oh yeah!” The other one chimed in. Its voice was extremely squeaky. “And then how they became Watchers, and then they left!” Xisuma shook his head in disbelief. “Brings me farther into this story, thank you very much. So, the Prime Watcher got really mad when Xelqua and Escent left, and we were tasked with finding them.” “We’d actually want to thank you, Xisuma Void! You made our job much easier!” “But before that…'' X's stares were even darker than ever now.
“I knew what I had to do! After all, difficult children will take advantage of your good nature. So you lock them up, throw away the key, there’s one on every family tree!” “Ungrateful, hateful, vile too, the things they put you through!” “Break their spirits so they obey, now they’ll do anything you say! Maybe you’d call it cruel, but others would call it love- tough ‘love.’”
X reached quickly for his sword, loose in its sheath. As soon as it was released, there was purple blood all over it, and the shorter Watcher’s corpse disappeared without a trace. He reached his sword out to the other one. “Oh, you wouldn’t dare,” it said. X knew that its many eyes were staring at him from behind its mask. “If you touch my family, I would,” he replied. With one quick movement he placed the sword into its neck and impaled the monster. When it disappeared, he said “That’s what you get.”
Not only a moment after this happened, two people came rushing at X. “Grian, Pearl! Please be careful!” “X I’m sorry! They just-“ Pearl didn’t get her moment to explain. “They-just-showed-up-and-they- threatened-to-destroy-Hermitcraft-if-we-didn’t-follow-so-we-did- and-“ “Grian, calm down, it’s not your fault. And the three of them sat in a hug until sunset.
