-Are you sure you’re okay?- Hitomiko asked for the twentieh time in ten minutes.
-Yeah, I’m just a little tired- Midorikawa laughed. Hitomiko had picked him up in the airport after saying goodbye to Inazuma Japan.- I just need to rest a little.
-Oh I don’t know if you can rest just yet- she said with a suspicious smile, making Midorikawa frown in confusion, bu when he was about to ask her, she opened the door of the orphanage.
-WELCOME BACK CAPTAIN!- and suddenly, the green-haired boy was tackled by his teammates in Gemini Storm.
-Hi guys- Midorikawa laughed as he was now able to get up from the floor. He smirked at his team.
-You know, I’ve been gone only for a few weeks, not a few years- the captain joked, making his teammates smile.
-Oh we know but we really missed you- said Nozomi.
-We’re glad to have our captain back- Goryuu smiled at Midorikawa
-You were amazing in Inazuma Japan-said Io looking at his captain with complete adoration.
-Yeah, you new hissatsu is so cool- Omotsuki, one of the youngest, jumped excited.
-So Lightning Accel, huh?- Miura elbowed him. Midorikawa smirked at him.
-Yeah, it could be a sign of Gemini Storm- Midorikawa grinned at his teammates who chucked at him.
-Well guys, why don’t we go with the others. I’m sure the food is ready.
-Food? What are we waiting for, then? Let’s go!- Midorikawa exclaimed , gaining the laughs from his team and Hitomiko.
-Never change, Mido-kun.- Hitomiko shook her head with a fond smile.
-Welcome back Mido-kun! - the rest of the kids in Ohisama En greeted their friend, Midorikawa laughed as he was hugged by everyone.
-Well done Midorikawa- Suzuno patted him on the head.
-Yeah damn kid, you really have become stronger- Midorikawa was surprised at Nagumo’s compliment, bu he accepted it nonetheless.
-Ryuuji-kun!- Yagami Reina hugged him tighly, squeezing until he couldn’t breath.
-Hi Reina-neesan- he laughed once he was free from the embrance, she had always been very warm with him, acting like his older sister. Reina smirked as she wrapped an arm around the boy’s shoulders.
-Lightning Accel huh? You really are the Gemini Storm captain.
-Yeah-the green-haired boy laughed.
The spent the afternoon eating snacks and catching up, even they told stories from when they were younger, some laughed while others got embarrassed. Hitomiko smiled at them, she felt happy that they were finally able to put the Aliea Academy days behind and be themselves. It was really nice.
