Lisanna groans while trying unsuccessfully to lift Natsu off of the floor of the train. "Fine. If you don't get up then Happy and I are gonna leave you here." She threatens him. Happy giggles at the antics and stops trying to lift Natsu's head. "Aye!" He says cheerfully.
They had just arrived in Hargeon. Natsu heard a rumor of someone who sounds suspiciously like his father, Igneel. Though as usual his motion sickness had him laying on the floor of the train in a pathetic heap.
Of course, Lisanna had her doubts but decided to tag along so she can offer emotional support. Even Lis had her limits though and was in no mood to deal with his crap again. "Fine. You did this to yourself, Naaaaatsu~!" Lis says his name in a sing-song voice innocently, with an undercurrent that holds an edge to it. He knew that tone meant she was annoyed with him. She turns on her heels with Happy in her arms and they leave him there on the floor.
When he finally gathers his strength the train is leaving the station. Happy had to reluctantly rescue him, so they didn't waste time on their mission. Lisanna rolled her eyes and followed him. They saw a crowd forming and the name of the person they were looking for being screamed. Natsu ran into the crowd pushing his way through, moving faster than Lisanna could keep up with.
They crashed into the center where this creep with purple hair was trying to charm the local girls. Lisanna noticed the charm spell immediately and felt disgusted by it. "Who the heck are you?" Natsu asked, in the same disgusted tone that Lisanna felt.
Much to Natsu's dismay and Lisanna's amusement, the girls under the charm spell beat up the dragon slayer for being rude to their idol. As she went to help him though, someone else was already doing so, a girl and it seemed that they were getting along well as she smiled at him. Lisanna thought she was gorgeous.
The girl was about the same height as Lis. She also seemed the same age as both of them. She was very curvy, had long shiny blonde hair, and chocolate brown eyes and seemed to shine with excitement. She offered them lunch and both boys embarrassed Lis and her both with their begging and excessive thanks.
Over lunch they learned that she was a celestial wizard but not in a guild but would love to join theirs. Natsu and Lis had a quiet talk and decided to surprise her with the invitation to go home with them before they left town tomorrow.
They part ways after lunch and Natsu decides that he and Lis need to see the whole town. As they are passing a view of the sea. Natsu growls after overhearing a rumor. Lis and Happy look over at him confused and he explains the situation to them. He got Happy to fly him to the boat of the "Salamander", that they met earlier today before she could talk him out of it. Lisanna has to follow them in her harpy form.
Once he crashed through the roof, she heard Lucy's shout of surprise. She sees a flash of something being thrown and grabs it. "These are Lucy's keys!" She says in surprise. She hears a scream and sees Happy carrying the blonde while dodging magic bullets. They both plummet towards the water. She isn't fast enough to catch them but she turns into her mermaid take over and joins them in the water shortly after getting close. She hands Lucy her keys.
"Thank you so much!" Lucy beams at her as she summons a mermaid herself. Aquarius is a grumpy spirit and washes them all ashore. Lisanna releases her transformation and helps Lucy up as the mermaid insults her before leaving them. Natsu is now no longer burdened by his motion sickness and is able to quickly defeat Bora.
Unfortunately he also caused an excessive amount of damage and now the rune knights were after them. As they flee, Lisanna grabs Lucy's hand and pulls her along too. She looks surprised at this and slows a little. "You said you wanted to join Fairy Tail, right?" Lisanna asks.
"Come on. Let's go back to the guild guys." Natsu's shouts. Lucy giggles and picks up the pace as they keep running from the guards. The men get close to catching them but Happy and Lisanna had a plan. She uses her harpy form and Happy gets his wings out. Lisanna scoops Lucy up and flies her away. Lucy squeals in surprise but she relaxes when she realizes it's just Lisanna. Happy has Natsu in his hold already used to carrying the dragon slayer like this.
They fly as far as they can and it's far enough that the guards lose them. Putting them down on the road surrounded by the woods they start their trek back to the guild. Lucy falls into step beside Lisanna. She smiles brightly at her. "Thank you for saving me and bringing me with you." She tells her.
"You wanted to join our guild. Natsu and I thought you would get along well with everyone and we wanted to get to know you better so it's really no trouble." Lisanna explains with a friendly grin. Natsu then drapes an arm around each girl.
"We should start a team. All three of us. You guys in?" Natsu says. Happy flies around them and cheers with an "Aye." Both girls think about it for a moment.
"I'm cool with it. I mean we kinda already are one, Natsu." Lisanna replies with a confused look on her face.
"Yeah but now we have, Luce! So it's more official!" He says it's obvious. Lucy smiles and nods her agreement.
"I'm in. You are my two newest and only friends in the guild right now so I'd rather stick to friendly faces." She tells them with a nervous smile. "I'm a little bit nervous to meet the rest of the guild."
"It'll be fine. My big sis, Mira is usually nicer to the new recruits. And everyone is a big family, I'm sure it'll be okay." Lisanna reassures her. She smiles as they clear the forest around them and you can see the city of Magnolia spreading out before them. Natsu and Lisanna grin at Lucy.
"Welcome to Magnolia. Home of the Fairy Tail guild!" They say in unison before she's once again dragged away. This time towards a new adventure with some new friends.
