Charles gazed at the man standing before him on the roof of the crate.
His suit was a dark navy blue, much like the highlights in Charles’s own. Instead of a spider, a crimson lion sprawled across the man’s chest.
“Who are you?” Charles asked as they began to circle one another.
The man glared, his icy blue eyes flashing under the floodlights of the shipyard.
Rather than respond, the man launched an attack, leaping toward Charles with an inhuman speed.—
