Chapter 1: Take yo damn shoes off

Chapter Text

There are a bunch of things that confirm her worst fears from when she wakes up on a familiar piece of sand, without even the emergency food, and the familiar sight of a hilichurl camp that she decides that she must’ve died playing Genshin.

And isn’t that a way to go, she probably fell asleep as she died to Genshin.

However unlikely it may be as she doesn’t remember much aside from waking up in this world, hell who knows if the unknown god is even a thing in this one.

Wouldn’t that be nice, to not have to deal with the end of the world? It was probably a pipe dream of her’s. And an even bigger pipe dream as she notices the hilichurl as it notices her, at least it can’t suddenly run and fully heal itself.

And it won’t have to as she can’t swing her sword to save her life as she hasn’t used the traveler ever since finding out how to form a party of 4 that could work without her.

At least they were useful for those wind statues as she knows how to do that one move of her arsenal well enough to destroy the first hilichurl she sees.

Her skill having a cooldown is a big issue as she has to run around a lot more than she has to at her school when she was forced to run the mile sometimes.

Just because it is useful now doesn’t mean she wasn’t going to continue to hate it whenever she managed to return from this world.

She better end up returning before her dick of a brother goes searching for her and somehow ends up as the abyss prince. She hates him most of the time so she’s going to end up as the evil one rather than him.

Well, she might as well get herself captured to find out who exactly is leading the abyss order in… whatever time it currently is.

Oh. This is going to suck.

She looks out on the horizon and sees nothing which can only mean one thing.

“Where the hell did the city go?” It couldn't have just disappeared!

Fuck, she should’ve read the wiki at least once before accidently dying and ending up here. Now here she was paying the price for not deciding to look up any of this crap.

What else can she say except for the fact that the fanfiction was much more important than the lore in her opinion.

Now to throw herself off a cliff, or find that thing in the sky. It might have some use… maybe?

God(s?) If you are out there let her please keep her rank as she doesn’t want to have to wait for the actual game to start before she can try to rank up once again, and if you can’t do that one can she have her party back?

Considering the fact that the city they came from hasn’t even been created yet there is no problem and the ones she needs to worry about are not even in her party, thank god for her only having a week's experience of this game.

That week totally wasn’t just spent attempting to find lilies to level her Yunjin or anything, it totally didn’t take her a couple of days before randomly stumbling on that village and those lilies.

It’s why she wants Mona so she doesn’t have to remember that time spent on Yunjin, and so she can continue to wonder how rare having a Mona actually is. How is she still considered rare, maybe people are just losing on their luck?

Is Mona even that good? Sure she saw a screenshot once but that required all those other characters that she definitely isn’t going to end up getting lucky on. One of those three is definitely getting left behind.

She laughs and groans at her next idea.

At least it made her Amber do better damage with her burst. Yeah, she's stretching her condition of "better" on this one.

Now if only she could figure out how to swap in real life for the use of Mona and her Yunjin helping abilities.

Yunjin is the flashiest character she had in her party with all of her animations and especially her idle animations. Combining her With Mona's burst and the crystalize effect was amazing. It definitely did more damage than whatever monstrosity that Amber was.

It was harsh but true as she walked in a random direction for whatever the highest cliff she could remember was, maybe death would somehow take her to whatever the abyss was. How different could it be from hell anyways?

No way would the developers actually make a heaven.

So yeah, hopefully we find out if those statues work or if she’s about to end up swallowed up by a hole? At least that sounds like something that was possible.

She spends the next couple of minutes celebrating like she has just won the lottery.

“Yeah! Guess who gets to be the evil one? Not you!” The fact that nothing came for her was clearly a sign.

With many delusions in front of her she walks until whatever it is that caused the plot of the game that will be attempting to bankrupt her can begin.

Destiny will be made one way or the other, and she intends to watch it all play out.

“Aether, you better not be wearing those shoes when I find you.”

He groaned in his bed as he remembered one of his memories of the old world.

“It’s not my fault you didn’t want to go to work…” He turned over to try and sleep once more.

She was going to hurt him when they met once more if he brings up certain memories that are better left forgotten.

But before that could happen she was going to have to deal with the biggest issue of her new life as the antagonist.

"Dear god, is this why I was told to not play in english?"
