Summary
After dealing with his friends and sister being part of gangs for so long, Aether's been desensitized to most of the strange happenings in his neighborhood and the neighboring cities. Streets were divided into territories instead of blocks, businesses were influenced both by their owners and the gang that protected them, and Aether had even gotten to the point where he was using the influence of those he knew to keep creeps off of him on the late nights he walked home alone. So when he finds someone hiding from the Fatui in a dumpster in the alley by his apartment he doesn't even think twice before taking them home with him to patch them up. The stranger being just his type was just a bonus.
Xiao, however, isn't sure what to think about the cute blond with connections to major gangs helping him without an agenda.
