TK was walking around the 126 with a little shadow behind him “what are you doing?” TK asked Mateo “I’m helping you with your chores, cap told me to keep an eye on you and to make sure you get your chores done so you are not slacking.” Mateo told TK who rolled his eyes but smiled a little bit.
“How about you go into the bathroom and tell me if we need any more toilet paper or towels and I’ll go to the supply closet and get them.” TK said before Mateo ran off to do as he was told to do “you can’t just boss Mateo around, he may be younger than you but he does look up to you as an older brother type.” Owen told TK who looked at his dad “I’m still doing my chores and he’s still helping so I don’t see what the big deal is.” TK said before he went to get what they needed before Mateo got back with what they needed for the bathrooms.
Mid day!”
TK got his chores done and was just relaxing till their next call when Mateo came up to TK and smiled “do you need anymore help?” Mateo asked TK who looked up “no, thank you for helping me today it went so much faster than if I did it myself.” TK said with a smile before Mateo ran off to go see if anyone else needed help.
Owen had Judd keep an eye on TK to make sure he was treating Mateo fair today since TK has been known for overpowering the probies from time to time and Owen didn’t hear about it till a few days later when TK wasn’t working.
“Just because I’m his captain and dad doesn’t mean I won’t discipline him if needed so if you see any mistreatment of Mateo or anyone else just let me know so I can deal with it.” Owen told Judd who smiled and shook his head “what would you do extra chores?” Judd asked “oh TK knows if he misbehaves at work he gets a timeout and a spanking.” Owen told Judd “damn, my daddy would have done the same thing if he and I worked together.” Judd told Owen who shook his head.
Owen was in his office when he hear TK yelling at someone “gosh how can you be so stupid!” So Owen got up and went to investigate and saw Mateo about to cry with TK standing next to Mateo “I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to!” Mateo said before Owen came down to the kitchen.
“Mateo go calm down then come to my office ok?” Owen said while staring at his son “Tyler you go to my office right now.” Owen told TK who did “dad come on, I didn’t mean to.” TK told Owen who looked at TK “you have been on thin ice all day so if I was you I would take yourself up to my office before you regret anything else.” Owen told TK who ran upstairs while Owen looked at Mateo.
“It was an accident I didn’t mean to!” Mateo said now crying so Owen hugged him “shhh, I know buddy. Why don’t you go rest up in the bunk room and I’ll have Marjan or Paul stay with you so you're not alone ok?” Owen said while Mateo said ok before he went to the bunk room and lied down on his bed with his blanket and stuffed bear.
TK was waiting in Owen’s office when he knew he stepped out of line and didn’t mean to yell at Mateo and make him cry “are you pleased with yourself?” Owen asked TK who looked sad “I’m sorry dad, it just came out and Mateo got my anger I wasn’t mad at him.” TK told Owen who looked at TK.
“You have been in a mood all day long and Mateo has been super nice to you so do you want to tell me why you took it out on him?” Owen asked TK who looked up “it’s stupid.” TK told Owen “I need more then it’s stupid as an explanation for your behavior.” Owen told TK who nodded his head
“Ok so I was on my phone and I saw that someone commented on my post about the team and they called me the f word so I took it out on Mateo who didn’t really do anything to me but accidentally bumped into me while I was holding my coffee and split it.” TK told Owen who sighed.
“You will go say sorry to Mateo but when we get home you will get a spanking for how you have been behaving today.” Owen told TK who understood what Owen was saying “I’m sorry dad. I’ll do better.” TK told Owen “I’m not the one you need to say sorry to am I?” Owen asked TK who said no
TK went to go find Mateo with Paul and Marjan both with Mateo “guys can I have the room?” TK asked his friends, “I don’t know, are you going to make Mateo cry again?” Marjan asked TK who said no “I just need to apologize for how I have been acting today.” TK told Marjan who looked at Paul who nodded his head.
“You have 5 minutes and if I hear any crying from Mateo and it’s not for you saying sorry or yelling I will come in here and kick your ass.” Marjan told TK who understood this
TK looked at Mateo who curled onto himself more “hey buddy. I’m sorry for how I have been acting today, can you forgive me?” TK asked Mateo who didn’t say anything for a few minutes “you called me stupid. I’m not stupid I’m smart not stupid.” Mateo said.
“I know and I’m sorry for calling you stupid when your cleanly not ok. I took my anger out on you and it’s not right of me.” TK said before Mateo looked up but didn’t say anything to TK.
“You're in trouble, I can tell. Your dad isn’t happy with you is he?” Mateo asked TK who said “my dad will deal with me when we get home but yeah he’s not happy with me.” TK told Mateo “I hope it’s worth it. You hurt my feelings and I don’t know if I can say it’s ok.” Mateo told TK who felt bad.
“You're one of my best friends and I’m sorry I hurt your feelings. I just saw something I didn’t like and took it out on you instead of just ignoring it like I should have.” TK told Mateo who looked up and hugged TK “I’m sorry you were where my anger went to. I promise you that if I ever feel angry I’ll just take a deep breath and just calm down before I speak ok?” TK told Mateo who said ok before he smiled and TK smiled at Mateo.
At home.
TK knew that his dad wasn’t playing when he said he would get a spanking after he misbehaved “I want you to go to your room and wait for me to come up ok?” Owen asked TK who said ok before he got out of the car and went to his room and waited for his dad to come upstairs.
TK always hated the waiting part more than the spanking part, TK just hated being left alone with his own feeling and knew that today he crossed the line with both his dad and Mateo.
Owen went to the kitchen and got himself some water before he went to TK’s room where he saw TK sitting on his bed “I want you to stand in one of your corners while I go get changed and think about what you did today and how that affected Mateo and the rest of the team.” Owen told TK who did before he stood up and went to the corner close to his closet door and just stood there till Owen got back.
Owen came back 5 minutes later and called TK over to his bed. “What you did today wasn’t very nice to Mateo.” Owen told TK who said sorry I know you are but we need to get this over with so we can go to bed since we have a shift in the morning.” Owen told TK who nodded his head “come on you know the deal.” Owen told TK who did as he lay down over his bed and waited for Owen to start when TK hated the first slap but after that everything seemed to go faster “I’m going to give you 26 smacks then you will go to bed so you understand?” Owen asked TK who said yes before Owen got started as he didn’t like having to spank his son but it was needed from time to time.
26 smacks later with Owen’s hand and a spoon.
TK was a crying mess and Owen sat next to TK and rubbed his back “shh, it’s all over and you are forgiven.” Owen said before TK looked up “I’m sorry dad! I’ll do better!” TK said before Owen helped TK sit up and held TK to his side “just remember how you are feeling anytime you want to say something bad or do something bad ok?” Owen asked TK who nodded his head “get changed for bed and I’ll come in to say goodnight.” Owen told TK before kissing his head and left to give TK some privacy so he can get changed.
10 minutes later!
Owen came to check on TK who was lying in his bed under the covers on his phone “Tyler you know the rules. If you get a spanking before bed, no phone or iPad for the rest of the night.” Owen told TK who looked up “I’m sorry dad.” TK told Owen who sat down “I’ll set an alarm for us and come wake you up or you can use your Alexa to set up an alarm.” Owen told TK who did “Alexa set an alarm for 7:30 please.” TK said before Alexa did “love you buddy, try to get some sleep since we have a longer shift tomorrow.” Owen told TK before kissing his head.
TK nodded his head “love you too dad.” TK said before he closed his eyes and went to sleep.
