Work Text:
It was a cloudless blue day when Yamara's fathers died, lying peacefully in each other's arms.
She was the one who found them, and wept with grief knowing that they were gone from her side to where she wouldn’t be able to follow yet, she knew.
Ahmose and Thutmose were spared the worst of it, but Yamara had to deal with all of the questions from the coroner and also deal with the matter of her fathers' wills.
It was no surprise that they had willed everything to their children, Papa willing the game shop to Yamara and what money he had to Ahmose and Thutmose equally. Dada willed all he had to them split equally among the siblings.
Yamara sat down with her brothers as they reminisced about the love their fathers had given and the fact that they both died just after Papa's fortieth birthday.
