Nico knew he was lucky to have survived this long. The risky paths he had chosen over the past decade graced him with a deeper understanding of the underbelly of society. He thrived while being unpredictable, even to himself. But living fast, free, and unprotected had finally caught up to him. Nico found himself homeless and pregnant. No more trains. No more cigarettes. No more grifting. Time to settle down somewhere. Time to focus on someone other than himself. Was that even possible for him? Could he stand to stay in one place? How was a son of the underworld expected to usher in a bundle of life?
