   Summary

Former Sith Lord (Formerly Darth) Maul has been on a path for revenge for the entirety of his second life. When Palpatine's plan comes to fruition and Maul escapes, Maul's plans are dashed to pieces, but he KNOWS that Kenobi is still alive.

Only...something catches his attention. And it's more important than even the all consuming need for revenge that has propelled Maul forward through everything. Oh, this is MUCH more important and almost...intriguing to Maul.

   OR:
Maul gets distracted from his plan for revenge when he starts watching a Purge Trooper Commander who was formerly Kenobi's Commander.
