“Come on, Xiao! It’s only for tonight.” The maple colored boy was pleading a certain adeptus for awhile now.
”Kazuha… You’re pretty much aware that I do not like engaging in those so-called parties. I do not see any reason why must my presence be needed in there.”
Admittingly for Xiao, he isn’t good at interacting with the mortals of Liyue Harbor, let alone being in a party with them. Which is why he kept declining Kazuha’s invitation to go with him.
“Please, Xiao. This is the only time I’m asking you to come to the Alcor with me.” Kazuha begged once more.
“You really don’t know how to stop, don’t you? For the last time, I said-“
“I heard there’s Almond Tofu being served in the party.”
“How did it ended up like this…” Xiao sighed to himself.
If Kazuha thinks that Xiao would be easily swayed with Almond Tofu, then damn right he is. Despite their relationship just being new, Kazuha knows how to handle a difficult person like him.
Both of them had just arrived in Beidou’s ship in time for the party.
“Kazuha! Glad you’re here.” The captain greeted with a big smile on her face. “I see you brought your mighty adeptus boyfriend with you tonight.”
“Please… Just call me Xiao.” The darked haired boy spoke, while keeping his tone of voice in a way that’s not considered “rude” or something similar.
“Well then, welcome to the party, Xiao! I hope you’ll enjoy your time here.” Beidou says before she turns around to take care of her other guests around the ship.
“Shall we get settled?” Kazuha asked Xiao with a smile on his face. Xiao looked around the venue before turning back to him.
“Can we take a table for just two of us…” Xiao whispered to the latter.
“Of course, I know you want to eat your Almond Tofu in peace.” Kazuha chuckled as Xiao averted his eyes from his statement.
The two Anemo users sat around the corner, a bit further away from the people.
“Everyone, thank you for coming here tonight!” Beidou finally commences the small celebration. The Crux and the other guests cheered loudly, with some raising bottles of liquor.
It was a very lively party indeed. A lot was going on in the Alcor.
Beidou approached Kazuha with a plate on her hand.
“Here you go Kazuha, for boyfriend.” Hearing the words from someone else made Xiao look away from embarrassment.
“Thanks, Captain.” Kazuha thanked in behalf of the yaksha. “Oh right, I was about to ask for some sake too.”
”Of course! This won’t be a party without booze after all.” The eyepatched woman headed back to grab some alcohol as per the samurai’s request.
“Kazuha… I don’t drink.” Xiao whispered to his seatmate.
“I thought so. Don’t worry, I had no plans on forcing you to.” Kazuha smiled.
“Hey, Kazuha! We’re having a drinking game! One of these men said you can’t handle your drink!” A Crux member, obviously drunk, called out to Kazuha.
“Heh, this is interesting.” The maple boy had a smirk on his face. “Hey Xiao, is it okay for me to go?”
“Why are you asking me… Just do it.” Xiao didn’t really care about the game. Kazuha gave a smile to him before he went on to the center of the party.
The adeptus was just eating his Almond Tofu as he watches his boyfriend gulp one shot after another.

Wait, how many has it been?
Xiao lost count of how much booze Kazuha already took. Heck, he was too focused on what’s happening to the drinking game that the dessert on his plate was unfinished.
Eventually, Kazuha’s competitor was knocked out. Everyone was shouting in victory. Very lively indeed.
“Alright, young man. Go back to accompanying Xiao now.” Beidou guided Kazuha on his way to their spot. “Still, that’s way more sake than you usually drink… Are you going to be okay?”
“Please… I’m fine!” Kazuha’s face say otherwise. It was as red as the red streak on his hair.
“Kazuha…” Xiao called. The latter blinked a couple of times before opening his mouth.
“Wow, you are one handsome man!”
Beidou could not stop herself from cackling so loud. “I’m fine my ass! You’re definitely drunk, Kazuha! Bwahahaha!”
Xiao couldn’t process what was happening. To be fair, Kazuha did take A LOT of liquor. And to make it worse for him, he didn’t really know how to handle a drunk person.
“Are you single?” A drunk Kazuha stared at Xiao, only a few centimeters away from his face. Beidou’s laughter isn’t going down anytime soon.
“I… We’re literally dating.” Xiao was very confused.
“What’s your name?” The drunk boy asked.
“… Xiao.”
“That’s a pretty name you got.” Kazuha put his face on his hands. Xiao was dying inside.
“Um… Beidou, is this how he is when he’s drunk?”
“Nope, trust me. This is the first time I’ve seen him like this, nor does he drink that amount of alcohol.” The woman answered.
“I see…”
“Well, good luck dealing with your drunk man! If I were you, I’d take him home right now.” Beidou said as she went back to the party.
Before Xiao realizes it, he founds himself having a maple colored boy clinging on his body. He was trying his best to keep his composure, otherwise he would’ve died on the spot.
“Xiao…” Kazuha called.
”Yes?”
There was silence between them for a bit.
“Xiao… Xiao… Xiao… Xiao… Xiao..!”
“What is it, Kazuha?” Xiao finally speaks again, with a hint of annoyance in his tone.
“Nothing… Hehe. I just like the sound of your name in my tongue. Xiao…” The drunk boy smoothly smirked.
I’m dead. Goodbye. Xiao thought.
“W-we’re going home, Kazuha.” Xiao stood up, even with the drunk boy still clinging onto him.
“WAIT! Where are we going?!” Kazuha jumped.
“Heading out, obviously. You need to rest.” Xiao sighs.
“Eh?! But I don’t want to go home! My boyfriend will kill you!” Kazuha whined.
“I AM YOUR BOYFRI-“ Xiao stopped himself before he’d say it out loud. “… You already had too much. We’re going home.” Xiao holds Kazuha’s hand and is prepared to leave. But the latter stops him for a moment.
“Fine, I’ll go home… If you kiss me passionately.”
Xiao almost tripped. They never kissed each other before. But Xiao isn’t one to take advantage of a person, especially not someone who’s drunk. Not even his lover.
This is just the alcohol speaking… Just take him home and let him rest…
“We are leaving!” Xiao exclaimed out of embarrassment, as he started carrying Kazuha on his back. Instead of taking his sweet time, he teleported to Wangshu Inn immediately.
He went in one of the inn’s rooms and gently laid drunk Kazuha on a bed. Before he was about to let him sleep, he felt a tug on his arm. Xiao was pulled on the bed too, very close to Kazuha’s face.
“Stay…” As Kazuha’s eyes close and fell into a deep slumber.
Xiao was also tired from processing what happened from the past hour, and also dozed to sleep.
“Ugh… What happened…” Kazuha yawned. He looked beside and saw Xiao, who also just woke up.
“You got drunk. Reeeeeally drunk.” Xiao yawned as well.
“Seriously?!” Kazuha was shocked. “What did I do…”
Before Xiao could even speak, he recalled last night’s events and got flustered.
“Tell me, Xiao!” Kazuha held the latter’s shoulders. Xiao’s face felt very hot.
“Y-you said…” Xiao muttered.

”I SAID THAT?!” Kazuha yelled.
Both the Anemo boys’ faces were very flushed.
