   Summary

   A few months ago, Ronald "Red" Daniels decided to enlist in the newest war, which citizens have been dubbing, "World War II." And damn if it doesn't feel like it. Now, Daniels is on the beaches of Normandy, the reality of his situation sinking in. Said reality being, bodies of his now-dead friends pouring blood out of god know's where with Daniels trying not to meet the same fate. Amidst this evergrowing hole of problems, developing feelings for a certain "friend" from Chicago threaten to bubble up and over the surface.
