The dawn of quirks was a disaster that was born from absolute hate and petty racism.
Fortunately, The Tsugikuni Family lived in a distant village far from the violent acts that occurred between factions. This is where twins were born, Yoriichi and Michikatsu. They were very weird for brothers. Michikatsu is outgoing and brave as a child while Yoriichi was an untalkative boy who rarely even makes friends, he was always clinging onto his mother which caused Michikatsu to think that his twin was childish and useless. He also had a hideous scar on his top right face that made his father resent him.
Michikatsu and Yoriichi were sitting under a tree, when suddenly,
"Hey Yoriichi! I got something for you!" He said as he presented a flute towards Yoriichi.
Yoriichi looked at the flute and smiled, "Thanks brother. "
One day, Michikatsu manifested a quirk. He was playing with his friends than suddenly, he was able to manifest crescents that could launch at high speeds. His village celebrated over this fact and treated him like a king.
"Wow, A Moon Quirk! That's so COOL!"
"Such a prodigy, good grades and good quirk!"
"You're the best!"
Michikatsu was showered with so much love. Yeah they're right! I am the best! In fact, there is NO ONE that's better than me!
Through all this, Yoriichi just watched and followed Michikatsu's back.
"Wow, Michikatsu, You're so cool!" One of the kids that followed him. "Of course I am. "Michikatsu said as Yoriichi followed behind and enjoyed the view of the forest as they walked through it. Michikatsu then tripped and fell down, Yoriichi walked over with a worried face, "Are you okay?".
why are you looking at me like that? Is he LOOKING DOWN ON ME?
Michikatsu slapped his hand away and Yoriichi looked shocked.
"Don't follow me. " He mumbled out.
HOW DARE THIS USEFUL PIECE OF CRAP LOOK DOWN ON ME.
Ever since then , Michikatsu held a strong hatred for Yoriichi. Every time Yoriichi tried to talk to him, Michikatsu glared and roared at him to fuck off.
Michikatsu was in the local playground with some kids beating and bullying Yoriichi.
"You're useless, can't even do anything right! Like a DEKU!"
Their father hired a trainer for Michikatsu as his dream was being a great samurai that could stop the quirk war happening right now. One day, Yoriichi was interested and asked to try. Michikatsu laughed, "You're Deku, you can't do anything. "
"Now, now Michikatsu, let him try before we judge him. " The trainer said.
Yoriichi took up a sword, Michikatsu looked at him with a sneer, Deku won't be able to do shit. He's weak and useless.
"It's fine if you can't beat me, you'll just have to practise. " The trainer said with a kind voice. Yoriichi then proceeds to even out his breathing and focus on the trainer and in 4 strong hits, he has defeated the trainer. Michikatsu's eyes were wide, the trainer he could never even land blows on was defeated so easily by someone he perceived as weak, someone quirkless and sickly like Yoriichi.
"Deku.. how did you that?" Michikatsu glared darkly at Yoriichi. Yoriichi tilted his eyes and spoke, "I just hit the parts that seemed important. " Michikatsu was shaken. "How did you know that?" He later learned that Yoriichi was able to see through the bodies of people, his father insisted that he had a quirk, but no matter how many times it has been tested, he never had a quirk. Michikatsu was profoundly angry. After this incident, his father kicked him out of the house believing him to be a demon, but during the process, his mother died. It turned out that she had a sickness that caused her left side to hurt a lot which was why Yoriichi always clinged onto her mother so she could walk. Michikatsu was ridden with absolute jealousy and hatred for the supposed Deku that is his brother, Yoriichi.
After Yoriichi was abandoned, he walked for a really long distanced across the trees that blanketed him from the rain. It was there where he met Uta, who was alone after her family died after racist thugs found out they had mutant quirks. She had little horns hidden under her ribbon that tied her hair and obsidian like eyes. Yoriichi observed her as she held a bucket, inside were tadpoles and at the end of the day, she released them so they would be back with their families. Yoriichi decided to stay with her. After a decade, they became husband and wife.
Yoriichi was living a quiet life as an employee working in a normal office job, Uta was in her last month of pregnancy so Yoriichi delivered her towards the hospital for a Chiropractor to check on her while he went to stores to get equipment for the baby, but along the way, he ran into a man that had a heart disease but his son was in another hospital after he got attacked by street criminals, so he carried him there, Yoriichi went to the hospital where Uta was in, but there were police lines everywhere, everyone in the building has been killed alongside Uta and his unborn child. Yoriichi absentmindedly embraced their corpses for 30 minutes before a policeman told him to bury them so their souls were put to rest. Yoriichi learned that even if he had something more precious to him than life, others can easily trample over it. His dream was to live a normal life with his family but even that wouldn't come true because demons exist in this world.
Yoriichi decided to quit his job and become a vigilante Eventually he found out the man behind the attack had been blackmailed to do so by a malevolent man that ruled the underworld, All For One as he threatened to kill his family if he did not do what he asked, so when Yoriichi met him face to face, he spared him and delivered him to the police. He learned a technique that focused on using a sword and breathing with a perfect technique in order to function, he called it sun breathing but for an unknown reason, no one besides him was able to use these breathing techniques.
Michikatsu joined the police after he graduated, he has also started a family. One day, A rogue criminal attacked the police station he was stationed in, and killed everyone and was about to kill him too until Yoriichi appeared and subdue the attacker with ease. That angry rage and jealousy was back in Michikatsu as he left his family in order to focus on increasing his power and catching up to Yoriichi, he also became a vigilante. He knew he could never beat Yoriichi, there wasn't enough time to do that before he passed. "What if you did?" a man in a business suit spoke to Michikatsu. "What if you had a quirk that lets you live forever?" he spoke as Michikatsu's eyes glistened. It was at this day, that Michikatsu became Kokushibo.
Yoriichi was finally able to find his base and raided it. He walked down the halls and there he was, All For One, and the moment he met him, he understood that he was born into the world to defeat this man. The aura radiating from him is undeniably strong like a volcano spewing lava. He laughed at Yoriichi, saying that the vigilante terrorizing his forces was a sickly man who didn't even have a quirk. He presumed Yoriichi only got lucky that he was able to beat all of his subordinates.
"What do you find so entertaining? What's so amusing about this? What is the value of a life to you?"
Yoriichi vocalized to All For One. he smirked and bursts with laughter, "Life means nothing towards me, as long as they benefit me, I don't care. " As his arms started bursting apart revealing blood vines and glowing energy orbs that sprung at Yoriichi at massively hypersonic levels of speed. Yoriichi easily dodges all of them much to All For One's shock. "Are you perhaps not quirkless?" he asked as Yoriichi moved faster than a normal eye could possibly see. All For One launched up high in the air and prepared to shower the facility in lasers when Yoriichi jumped up higher and looked at him, he had seven hearts and five brains. Truly, a monster in human skin. Yoriichi unleashed sun breathing onto him which completely ripped apart and burned his body into mush as they plummet into the ground, All For One landed with a large thud as Yoriichi landed gracefully outside of the facility. All For One was white and scared, he turned on his vision that let him see how strong a quirk is, and Yoriichi had none, he beat him quirkless. All For One was truly shaken, all his mental danger senses are telling him to run away but his physical quirks were not working the way it should be.
My durability quirks, how? and my hypersonic regeneration, WHY ISN'T IT WORKING?
He was holding his head in place as he looked up with a look of utter fear. Yoriichi asked his question again, "What is the value of a life to you?" as he took up his sword and prepared to strike him to end it all, the battle lasted for two seconds and Yoriichi came on top. All For One looked at him with rage and terror. His face grew veiny, it was clear he wasn't going to give him an answer. When he was about to land the finishing blow, the sound of molars breaking were heard as All For One's body split off into 2855 pieces, Yoriichi was only able to get 2854, one piece was able to escape which meant that All For One will live another day. Yoriichi was devastated and took responsibility for letting All For One escape.
"I think I was born with special strength for the purpose of defeating that man, but I was lacking. In the end, I failed, because of that, many more people will die, and that pains me." he said to a famous politician called Ryuusuke Aji, a man who was corrupt and greedy until a villain threatened to kill his family. Yoriichi saved him from that villain and Ryuusuke decided to dedicate his life to better the world, the politician that would later, establish an occupation called "Heroes".
After several decades, Kokushibo met Yoriichi again. He was now an old man who looked even more sickly than before.
"It's today that I prove that I am better than you DEKU. " he sneered as Yoriichi looked at him with the same monotone look. It pissed him off. As Kokushibo readied his sword, Yoriichi also readied his and a chilling feeling went down his spine and overwhelmed him, this aura he ahs produced, he could never beat this, he has trained every day for this moment , and he was about to die-
Yoriichi suddenly stood unmovingly as his aura disappeared. he has died on the spot before he even killed him. Kokushibo's face twisted in rage as he struck him down over and over again until a sack fell out, he saw what was contained in there, the flute he has given to him all those years ago. He started to cry.
stop, I hate you, i 'm happy that you're dead, why am I feeling this way?

Even after 243 years, All For One still had nightmares over Yoriichi, the burns he has inflicted over him could never be healed, no matter how many regeneration quirks he had. It just doesn't make sense. How?HOW?HOW COULD A LOWLY HUMAN LIKE HIM WHO WAS NO POWER WHATSOEVER DEFEAT A GOD, ME WITH THOSUANDS OF QUIRKS!?" All For One couldn't even look at a red haired person, not think of him and have a mental breakdown. Nealry all his useful quirks like splitting apart his body was gone, around 94%. the Michikatsu, now named Kokushibo has also heard about Yoriichi's overwhelming triumph against his master and silently stared at the flute.

As All Might's fist landed on Kokushibo, he started disinetegrating.
Was everything i did for nothing?
Why did everything turned out this way?
I wanted to be a strongest samurai, and i couldn't even do that.

As Kokushibo disintegrated, leaving behind a flute, All Might panicked that he thought he killed a villain, not knowing that was just what he wanted.
