Chapter 1: The most sanctioned country in the world.

Chapter Text

In a spacious room in the building where meetings of our beloved and familiar countries were usually held, a small group of countries gathered. All these countries were very different, from different continents, with unusual cultures and interests. But all of them were united by one thing, all these countries were, to put it mildly, rascals and rogues. At least from the perspective of other countries of the world. All these countries were under sanctions.

“I can't believe it!” - exclaimed Iran. “For many years, I held the lead in the number of sanctions. So many years. Finally, my record was broken.”

“And I can believe it. Because he is the best and should be first in everything.” - Belarus exclaimed passively aggressively, playing with a knife.

“All this is unfair and illegal!” - Syria replied. “This greatly affects my economy and people.”

“I have lived this way for almost my entire independence.” - North Korea replied. “Already used to it.” - he took a deep breath. “I even liked it over time. Kinda like to find new ways to illegally bring stuff to my country.”

“It's all bastard America! I can't stand him. And all because I wanted to be friends with Russia.” - exclaimed Venezuela. “By the way, I prepared pabellón criollo for him. So we can all eat and celebrate.”

“I also brought pancakes I made for my brother! And brought strawberry jam. I did it myself.” - Belarus answered, she was sitting next to Venezuela.

“Keep it up sister.” - answered the second girl.

“I don't know how I ended up in sixth place in our competition.” - Myanmar exclaimed. “What did I even do?”

Cuba exhaled the smoke from his cigar, “nothing. Just America, as Venezuela correctly said, a bitch and his friends too. That's all. He does not like the spirit of revolution and freedom. And you have to pay for freedom.”

The table was silent again.

“I still can't believe I'm in sixth place. Somehow, more sanctions have been imposed on me than on Cuba!” - exclaimed Myanmar.

“Eh, the Yankees are getting old. And before that, just sixty years ago, he was threatening with nuclear weapons and immediately sent armies. And now all sanctions, sanctions. Acts like a juvenile bandit.” - Cuba added.

“Yes, they are all clowns.” - Iran sighed. “Who does it worse? Here I have oil. They  themselves need it.”

“And I have! They themselves will come to cry over my rich resources.” - Venezuela said.

“And I have an army and weapons. So they are afraid to come to me. That's why sanctions are introduced.” - North Korea said, touching the pistol on his belt. Probably out of habit.

“I also looked at you and decided to do the same. With these countries, either by force or nothing.” - Iran added. “Yes, and Israel has been arguing with me for a long time already. And not a single sanction!”

Syria grimaced at the mention of Israel. Only yesterday they fired at each other again.

“And my brother can help me. And I can help him.” - Belarus said. “I constantly protect him from everything. And he forgives me my debts and gives me resources very cheaply.”

“Lucky, I also want a brother like that. I'm not lucky with my family.” - said Venezuela.

“Do you think I can beat his record?” - asked Iran. “Well, to come out on top again.”

“No, he has over 9000 sanctions.” - Syria said. “You have to try really hard to beat that.”

“Incredible, and how does he cope?” - Cuba asked as he put out his cigar.

Belarus shrugged, “even better than he himself would have thought. And why? Because my brother is great! He had been preparing for this for a long time.”

“This is just a great opportunity to build up economic cooperation with him.” - Iran said. “And I will have more tourists this year too. Such opportunities are opening up.”

“I would like tourists too… I have so many beautiful things to show.” - Syria muttered.

“So where is Russia, sister Belarus?” - asked Venezuela.

“Yes, he is late.” - Myanmar said. “Usually he is not late.”

“Don't know. But I miss him too.” - Belarus said.

And then the door to the hall swung open abruptly and Russia appeared in the doorway. In his new violet overcoat and white scarf with a big smile.

“Privet, friends! Sorry I'm late. I baked pies for you all.” - Russia exclaimed happily.

All countries stood up to greet Russia. And Belarus ran to meet him.

“Brother!”

“Russia!”

“Hola!”

“Privet, privet. You haven't been waiting for me, have you?” - asked Russia.

“No, we just made up for lost time, comrade.” - Cuba answered.

“Oh, good.” - Russia smiled.

“Well, now we can start our celebration since the main guest is here.” - Iran said.

“Yes, let's do it.” -Myanmar exclaimed.

“No matter how, we need to celebrate that you have become the most sanctioned country in the world.” - Venezuela laughed.

“Yes, the main thing for me is that you are friends here with me. The rest can wait for now.” - Russia smiled tenderly.
