Work Text:
“Be honest.”
Hoseok is pouting. His mouth turned down into a cute little triangle with his brows furrowed. His eyes look intensely into Taehyung’s, as if he can find the answer he’s looking for just by staring.
“I am. You’re beautiful, hyung.” And he is.
Looking at him now, wearing a pink tennis skirt with plain white t-shirt tucked into it, Taehyung can’t think of anything more beautiful. Not because of the fact that Hoseok looks pretty in a skirt and he does, of course he does, but because Hoseok is sharing this part of himself with Taehyung. And to him that makes Hoseok all the more beautiful.
“Really?” Hoseok asks, cheeks turning a pretty shade of red.
Taehyung chuckles and brings his hands up to Hoseok’s face. “Hoseok hyung, you’re the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen, nothing compares to you,” he whispers as if it’s a secret just for the two of them to hear.
Hoseok smiles and for a second Taehyung forgets to breathe. It’s not even one of Hoseok’s full blown heart shaped, crinkly eyed smile and yet for Taehyung, it’s like nothing he’s ever seen before. Perhaps because this smile is just for him, one that he caused.
If he has to call Hoseok beautiful everyday in order to see that smile, well that’s just fine by him. He’s just telling the truth after all.
