Summary
In an alternate universe, Judy comes to Zootopia wanting to live out her dream of being a cop. What she doesn't expect is to be taken advantage of the moment she arrives: After a passionate evening with hustler and con artist Nick Wilde, her world is turned upside down as she learns not everybody in this world is trustworthy.
When Judy begins an investigation into a series of murders, she must turn to Nick Wilde, the male fox who callously used her, to break the case wide open. Nick is a male bent on getting revenge in some small way on the prey creatures in Zootopia and their oppression of preditors. A new drug on the street - the nighthowler serum - has been achieving fantastic results in this area. But when a recent shipment from the manufacturers is tainted - laced with something mind-alteringly harmful - he wants to get to the bottom of it: Even if it means having to team up with Judy fucking Hopps. Zootopia ruins everyone. It ruined him. And he ruined Judy. It's the way the world works: It's dog eat dog. . . . So then why is he feeling guilty the more he works with her? Why is he starting to suspect that he DIDN'T crush her spirit? And why is he afraid she might reignight the hopes he once had for the future?
