The Avengers were all sitting around the de-brief room when there was suddenly an incoming video call from Fury
“Avengers, there’s this new Vigilante based in London. He’s got a particularly violent streak, murdering or critically injuring criminals and thieves. He goes by Moon Knight; I need you to capture him and bring him here to find out his motives.” Fury stated, hanging up afterwards
After fury hangs up, Tony asks FRIDAY to play video footage of Moon Knight that accurately represents his skills.
“Here is everything on Moon Knight, guys got a pretty cool looking suit if I do say so myself, obviously not as cool as mine.”
“Just shut up and play the video Stark” Natasha spoke.
[video begins playing]
“Hey, he’s gone!”
“Where is he”
Moon Knight is seen standing on top of the fake pyramid while a bunch of men have guns pointed at a woman.
A man in a red robe staring up at him shocked and is then led away by some of the men.
Moon Knight throws something at one of the men, causing the man holding the woman at gunpoint to fall, dead.
“Bit extreme,” Bruce voiced
The other man turning to shoot up at him.
Moon Knight jumps off the pyramid, his cape shaping into the shape of a crescent moon and lands on the ground, kicking the man to the floor.
“Whoa! His cape wasn’t that shape before! That shouldn’t be possible,” Tony yelled.
At this point, everyone in the area runs away screaming, while the woman starts shooting the men with a gun she picked up off the ground.
A row of guards is seen in a line entering the area and start shooting at the woman.
Moon Knight covers her with his cape, the woman saying something and him replying but cameras not able to make it out.
“Good to see he is protecting the civilians and not just killing everyone,” Natasha noted.
Moon Knight turns around quickly and throws multiple objects, cutting half the men down while the woman runs out of view of the camera.
Moon Knight starts running with superhuman speed into the remaining men, flipping around and throwing a crescent moon shape, impaling one of the men in the neck, he then kicks another to the ground and after gravitating his crescent knife back to him, jabs it in the man’s gut.
“That’s about how fast cap can run!” Clint exclaimed, Steve telling him to be quiet.
He continues to fight until suddenly the camera cuts out, the screen glitching for about 10 seconds until it returns to having Moon Knight impaled in the back, the pole going straight through him.
“Holy shit! What happened!” Tony yells, everyone else also exclaiming their surprise.
Moon Knight grabs the end of the pole and rips the end off, then grabbing one of the men and pulling him into the jagged edge of the pole while another guard stabs another pole through moon knight’s chest.
“How is he still moving like that? He’s been impaled through the chest, that should be lethal!” Bruce exclaimed.
Moon Knight throws them both away and another comes to stab him in the leg, bringing him to one knee while others continue to impale him.
The woman then comes back into the fight and shoots one of the men on a horse, him falling dead to the floor and then she gets hit by the red robed person on yet another horse.
“Okay so maybe she wasn’t a civilian,” Natasha spoke.
Moon Knight stands up seemingly without the poles that were sticking out him a second ago and kills the three men around him, them falling to the floor and stares at the robed man on the horse.
“Hold on, how is he back to normal! He just had poles sticking out of him!” Tony brought to attention.
They stare at each other for a few seconds before the man sets the horse into a run at the woman and moon knight sprints into action, getting to the woman first and rolling her out the way, throwing a knife at the man and killing him.
Moon Knight and the woman then walk away out of sight from the cameras.
[The video ends]
They all sit in silence for a few seconds before Tony spoke,
“That was… Informative.”
“You could say that again,” Clint replied.
“Sir, Thor has just arrived from Asgard” FRIDAY spoke up.
“Great timing, I need a break,” Tony said as he stretched.
“FRIDAY where was Moon Knight last seen?” Tony inquired
“The individual known as Moon Knight was last seen in the London area.” FRIDAY stated.
“Guess we know where we’re going now,” Clint spoke.
“Friends, may I join you on this adventure to this Lon-down?” Questioned Thor.
“London, Thor, Lon-don. And yes, you can come.” Steve spoke up.
[After traveling to London, they arrive at night]
“Moon Knight should be coming out at around this time,” said Natasha
After a few minutes of walking around the avengers enter an abandoned building and look up to see Moon Knight fighting something that looks invisible. Moon knight was somehow keeping up, as if it was perfectly visible.
After around a minute Moon Knight punches the invisible creature with one of his crescent daggers and what he was fighting turns to sand, becoming visible and the sand disappearing after a few seconds.
At that point Moon Knight turns to the Avengers, as if he knew they were always there, shocking a few of them.
As soon as Thor spots Moon Knight he pales dramatically, looking faint all of a sudden.
“Y-You-” he began, getting cut off by a gust of wind from nowhere, somehow making Thor even more scared.
Moon Knight then jumps down to the ground, his cape turning into the shape of a crescent moon.
Moon Knight looks at him and some mysterious deep voice scoffs, seemingly coming from nowhere
“You fake god.”
All the avengers are confused except for Thor. Suddenly another gust of wind blows, this time knocking a stack of nearby crates over, everyone flinching except for Moon Knight, who seems like he knew this would happen.
At this point Steve had enough,
“Who are you to Thor and who’s voice was that?” he questioned angrily.
“Oh, you could say he knows of me. And that. That was the voice of a real god, one who I am bound to serve. His name is Khonshu, the Egyptian god of the moon.” Moon Knight explained
“A real god? Serve? Pfft” Tony laughed while Steve spoke up
“There is only one God,”
“You dare insult me you worm!” Khonshu yelled, making the crates rattle with the wind again.
“Ok that is now getting seriously creepy” Clint spoke up.
“He doesn’t enjoy you insulting him” Moon Knight pointed out.
“Why are all of you in London, shouldn’t you be dealing with threats?” Moon Knight questioned, finally getting fed up with all this idle chatter.
“News flash glow eyes, you are the threat” Tony spoke up.
“Did he just insult the ceremonial armour of the Moon God.” Khonshu spoke angrily to Marc.
“You see, that’s going to be a bit of a problem” Moon Knight exclaimed.
He then gets into a fighting stance, and Clint quickly fires a tranquiliser meant to pierce through armour at him, causing Moon Knight to run at Clint. Moon Knight was just slow enough for Natasha to hit him with a tazer bullet, him shaking it off but her firing another until Clint can get over his shock and firing another tranquiliser strong enough to take down an elephant and when Moon Knight stayed struggling, he fired a few more, finally getting him down.
With Marc down Steven was panicking, he didn’t know what to do so he just continued to watch from outside the body, letting the body be unconscious, Khonshu keeping the suit activated to protect his avatar from being harmed as the avengers carted the body back to the Heli carrier.
