Jade and Seymore (formally Hsi Wu the Sky Demon) were curled around a roaring fire. Their newborn daughter, Azure, was resting peacefully by their side. Quite a bit had transpired since the day when Mingyun had given them both a nudge to uncover friendship and true love.
So once their outlandish otherworldly adventures concluded? A new one could commence. For just as Fate herself predicated so long ago? They're each other's best friends and soulmates. They knew from the start what they felt in their hearts was strong and true.
So, if one could embrace humanity and renounce their demon side? Then undoubtedly, they'd be together for the rest of their lives. As they sipped their cocoa and cuddled closer, Seymore slipped a small piece of paper into his wife's hands. She quickly unfolded it and cried happily when she read it.
"She of mortal blood holds the key to the Lord of Skies' heart.
A world of nightmares that never really passed.
Yet bore a friendship that will surpass the time elapsed.
It'd be only a few words if I could tell you the truth.

She brushed back her lengthy jet-black hair and caressed his handsome features before passionately kissing him. They kissed for so long that they practically forgot to breathe. They eventually came up for air, only for her to whisper. "I love you too." They didn't know that standing behind them, invisible, was Mingyun, whose heart swelled so much on a job well done!
