    Summary

    The tribes of the Orcs and the kingdom of Men had been in an on-again-off-again conflict for nearly two hundred years with some prosperous times in between where trade and communication would flow freely. The Orcs possessed one of the most resource rich lands west of the Great Divide, a deep canyon that has been the dividing line between the humans and the Orcs. Recently there has been a prolonged peace thanks in large part to the efforts of the Bard’s Guild and their endeavors to encourage dialogue and exchanging of ideas for the last ten years. Now is a time of transition and political planning.
    Randar Stonefist, War Chieftein of the Stonefist tribe and Maximillian Shaden, king of Holden, have long been in negotiation over how to best make this peace permanent and now they have found a way to make it happen. Prince Kaplan Shaden, third heir of the Kingdom of Holden and Journeyman Bard, will court and marry Kenna Grettasdottir, niece of Randar and warrior-scribe of the Stonefist tribe.
    Now it all hinges on whether the young prince can successfully court and claim the headstrong and particular orc bride…
