    He knows his boyfriend is absurdly good-looking, but Kit doesn’t spend a lot of time dwelling on the fact. When that point in Mark’s favor suddenly comes to Kit’s attention like this, he's forcefully reminded of the weeks he spent repressing his crush on Mark after they first met. Then, as now, he wandered through his days in something like a permanent daydream, stuck in a liminal space of imagining all the things he’d like to do with Mark.

    The absurdity now of course is that Mark is his and Kit can do all of those things if he just asks.
