Chapter Text
The dark grey and stormy sky lit up as lightning struck once again. The moon was hid well behind the fluffy clouds. Marcy stood at the door of an old and abandoned building. At least that what it seemed like.
”This should be quick, there’s not that many people in there.” Said Sasha while quickly adjusting her blonde hair and pulling up her black hood and black mask. Marcy's other girlfriend nodded in agreement “Yup, I doubt there’s a full house. But we should hurry just in case anyone comes back.”
Said Anne while putting on her black and purple beanie. Marcy sighed “Ughhh, I could be playing my favorite game right now..” She grumbled into her crossed arms. Anne chuckled lightly “Well you didn’t have to come ya’ know.”
Anne said while tucking a strand of the shorter girls black hair behind her ear. The blonde girl smirked “Yeah Mar Mar why did you come along?” She teased. Marcy's olive skin flushed slightly “To-to make sure you two are still alive!” She frowned.
Anne giggled again and Sasha snickered “Yeah sure.” Anne said then glanced down at her watch on her wrist. Sasha looked up to the many windows of the old building “Okay guys, you remember the plan?” She said looking back to her girlfriends.
“Yep!” Said the two in unison. The blonde nodded and raised her arm to shoot her grappling gun to the top of the old building. She waved them a quick goodbye before taking off.
“I can’t wait to see what kind of stuff this old building have.” Anne said with determination sparkling in her amber colored eyes. Marcy nodded with a cheeky grin “I can’t wait to get my hands on those gems!”
They both half whispered when they talked to each other so they didn’t ruin the plan. “y’know that this plan is so unnecessary, I think sash just wanted to give them a scare.” Anne said looking up at the roof then looking down at her watch from time to time.
The blonde haired girl held on tightly to the gun as it lifted her up. She swiftly landed on the roof of the building. Her dark blue eyes scanned the area before she could make her first move. There was a door that lead to the inside of the old building sitting up on the roof.
She noticed that there were 2 people inside the door having a conversation. Of course she had to go check it out being the nosy person she is. One had a orange hair and pale skin, while the other person had in a tall Mohawk.
Her eyes widened with interest. She quickly moved to the side of the door and listened to the deep conversation that sounded on the inside.
”-Have you heard about that one fancy party Vince? I think there’s gonna be a lot of goods there.” Said a woman’s voice. “Yes I’ve heard Maggie, almost everyone is attending!” Said a deeper voice. “The party is happening in one of the most expensive houses in the world! We gotta go! ”
Sasha leaned in a bit closer. What!? She thought.
”I’ll think about it. The crowded area might be hard to move around in.” Said the deeper voice person. “But it’ll be easy to steal in!”
The blonde haired girl listened with such interest. “Most expensive house in the world..” she said to herself. “That sounds like a interesting plan..I just gotta get the location first.” She said to herself while setting up her gear to barge into the door. If she was gonna just gonna walk in there she would need something to protect herself obviously.
She turned around to dig into her bag and reach for the sledgehammer that sat on the side of the other gadgets she had brought. She swung the hammer into the wide glass window that was on the door and shattered it to a million pieces. The 2 people on the inside gasped in surprise as the blonde broke open the door.
”What the hell!” The guy with the mohawk, Vince, exclaimed but was quickly knocked out by the sledgehammer the girl held. The girl with the orange hair paled and hurried down the steps to warn her friends or whatever. “Damn it!” She said through gritted teeth. Before she went on a chase she notified Anne that she and Marcy can come in now.
Marcy huffed “Agreed. We could’ve done this a much easier way. But you know how Sasha is.” Marcy said with a loving smile. Anne rolled her eyes “Tell me about it..we could be cuddling right now!” Marcy giggled but was cut off by the sound of glass breaking and Anne’s watch beeping.
“It’s time!” As soon as Anne said that a man with black messy hair barged out the door in attempt to run away. But they had other plans. Marcy smirked and punched the guy right in the face, easily knocking him out with a bloody nose and black eye.
Anne quickly walked into the door with Marcy behind her. The building was dark and full of wooden crates. Some of the windows were broken already, and the dusty floor was littered with shattered pieces of glass and broken wood.
”Marce! Check that crate.” Anne told her while walking over to another crate on the left. Marcy nodded and skipped over to the ones on the right and swung her sledgehammer into the side of the crate. The sound was a bit loud but she was used to it.
She heard Anne do the same for the crates on the left. With only a few hits the loot spilled onto the floor, which was lots of golden coins that looked really valuable. “Who has crates full of gold coins without any protection..?” Anne asked as she looked at the shimmering coins with skeptical expression.
Marcy shrugged. “That was really easy.” She turned to Anne and met her amber gaze “A bit too easy..” Anne finished off. The two seemed to share the same idea as 4 men came rushing down into the building. All of them wore black and white clothing with a skull on it. “Stay right there!” One of them shouted.
Anne facepalmed “You gotta be kidding me..”
Sasha chased the ginger haired girl down, who must be named Maggie, down the steps and wacked people with no hesitation.
She wondered why there were so many people here and why they wearing matching skull shirts. She made it to another floor. This floor was different from any other floor she had been on. It had some wooden crates and an ongoing campfire for some reason. She looked around for a bit while searching for the girl.
She found something that was supposed to be a bedroom. Of course she had to look through everything there. The blonde look threw all the drawers, under the bed, everywhere. Until her dark and determined eyes landed on something familiar. 3 gems, pink, green, and blue. The ones she saw the girl holding a few hours ago.
When she saw the ginger hair colored girl with them, she wanted them. So she followed her home and went back to the secret place her and her girlfriends shared to tell them right away that she found something that they can swipe pretty easily. But what she didn’t expect is that the gems would belong to a music box of all things.
When she saw the girl with them she was just holding the regularly for some reason. Now all she had to do was take the music box and get the location of that super fancy and end expensive party. She reached for the music box and shoved it in her bag with no regrets and an evil grin. "Hey! what do you think your doing!" said the familiar voice of the orange haired girl.
Sasha whipped around met her angry gaze. "Oh, just taking what I wanted." The blonde snickered and spun her sledgehammer. Maggie growled and balled up her fist "You're gonna pay for that blondie.." The stranger reached behind her and pulled out a small gun. Of course Sasha seen this coming. Lots of tiny bullets and loud bangs emitted from the gun the girl held.
The blonde gasped and duck to roll out the way. She was able to take cover behind some tall metal thing. She panted heavily while looking in both directions. "Oh don't be scared now.." Said the voice of the ginger haired girl trying to find her. She paused to take a break and take everything in that just happened. "Two can play that game." Sasha growled and reached for her bag.
Marcy crouched into a protective position. Keeping her dark brown eyes focused on the 4 men standing in front of the still open door. She held her sledgehammer carefully as if telling them what would happen if they tried to attack.
But the men didn’t get the message and started rushing forward. 2 of the shortest guys came for Marcy and the other 2 were much taller than her and Anne. Those 2 went for Anne. The blonde guy came behind Marcy trying to trap her arms behind her. The other guy had grayish hair and stood I front of her.
The blonde was able to grab Marcys hands and keep them away so she didn’t try anything. With the gray haired guy standing in front of her, she reared her knee into his stomach and had him stumbling back a bit. The guy behind him was surprised at what happened so she used it to her advantage.
The black haired girl threw her head back and hit him in the nose. A bit of blood dripped onto her silky black hair and her shoulders, but she didn’t really care. His grip loosened and she shoved her elbows back into his stomach to push him away.
While she was doing that Anne had no trouble in defeating her 2 enemies. The tallest guy, surprisingly first greeted her with a punch to the face. But she dodged the hit by moving out the way. She remembered she still held her sledgehammer and slammed into the side of the guys head, with a little twirl for extra pizzazz.
He quickly fell unconscious with a thud. The other guy saw what happened and gasped. He slowly backed away with so much fear in his wide eyes. “Ah, Ah, Ah!” Anne grinned as he turned around and tried to flee up the stairs of the building. She threw her sledgehammer and hit the back of his head. He groaned, and too, fell unconscious, while sliding down the steps.
She watched the sight with one hand on her hip and a proud expression. She turned to Marcy “How’s it going Mar-“ She saw the other guy, running for his life, out the building. “Seems like you got that covered. Now quick grab some!” Said the curly haired girl. Marcy didn’t hesitate to kneel down and grab big handfuls of the spilled coins out the broken crates.
The orange haired girl suddenly shot a bullet into the metal barrier. Sasha gasped jumped from where she was hiding and shot red beams of hot lasers from her laser gun. She didn't have her normal one since she gave it to Marcy because she knew she wouldn't need it. Seems like she was wrong. The 2 girls exchanged bullets and lasers, each bullet Sasha dodged with ease.
But Maggie wasn't so lucky. The ginger head girl tried to shoot another bullet only to find out she was out of ambo. Sasha laughed and shot another laser beam out of her gun and watched it hit her arm with a loud sizzle. Maggie flinched and dropped her gun to the hard floor. She held onto her arm where she had been shot and winced in pain. It left a mark that looked like she got burned by a hot material.
Sasha took no time in getting the getting girl on the ground. She raised her right leg and kicked her in her stomach. Maggie flew back against the wall with a grunt and her eyes jammed shut. "What do you want with us!?'' She shouted. Sasha cocked her head "Us? don't tell me you're in some type of group or something." Said the blonde while playing with the laser gun she held.
Maggie rolled her eyes and tried to sit up, but the pressure on her arm caused her to hiss in pain and slide back down. Sasha laughed "Pathetic.'' She raised the laser gun slowly and pointed it at the sitting girl. "Wait! please no-" Maggie begged while still holding onto her arm. The blonde lowered the gun a bit, "As expected, I'll let you go if you tell me where that party is." The ginger haired girl smirked "You seriously just did this for directions?"
Well that caught me off guard. Sasha thought. "Of course, any other way would've been to boring for my liking." She gave a sneaky grin then raised her laser gun. She almost laughed at how Maggie immediately started panicking again. "Any last words?" She said coldly. She was gonna make this girl answer her, one way, or another. "Please! if I-I can get some paper or-or something-" Then suddenly a small notebook and pen was thrown at her.
"Write up, bitch." She watched amusingly as the girl scrambled to grab the pen and scribbled down the address and extra information. "Here!" She pushed the notebook and pen into the blondes hands and clumsily tried to stand up. "Good. I better not see you there. Got that!?'' she shouted and raised the gun threateningly. Maggie gulped and quickly nodded in confirmation. The girl was finally able to stand and quickly walked down the steps of the old building. Sasha didn't know where she was going, nor did she care.
Now that she got what she wanted, again, she can finally get out of this raggedy building. But first she had to tell her girlfriends.
“Do you think that’s all of them?” Marcy asked while adjusting the straps of her bag that carried all the treasure. Anne stood up from her crouch position and did a quick stretch of her limbs. “I think so..I think Sasha got most of them.” Anne said. She looked down at her watch. “Speaking of Sasha...” Anne started pressing buttons on her watch while Marcy kept watch for any other guys.
Marcy was pulled out of her concentration as she heard a familiar voice come from Anne’s watch. “Hey girlies! I got the gems!” Said the twos girlfriend from on the watch. “That’s great Sash! Me and Marcy found some crates full of so many golden coins.” She said motioning to the broken crates. Now this place was more dirtier than before.
“But 4 guys walked in on us and we had to defeat them!” Marcy cheered. Anne smiled lovingly as she heard a proud laugh come from the watch. ”That’s great news! Meet out back so we can finally get out of this dumb building.” Anne nodded “Gotcha! See ya soon!” She said before pressing the hang up button.
Anne hadn’t realized that Marcy was staring at her expectantly. Anne’s brows furrowed and she tilted her head a bit “what?” Marcy frowned “The handshake?” Marcy said raising her hand and lifting a brow. Anne rolled her eyes “Right, almost forgot.” Their hand clapped together and they twirled their fingers against each other’s in their celebratory hand shake that Marcy made up one day.
The two finished and laughed immediately after. The curly haired girl wrapped and arm around her girlfriend as they exited the building with all their loot and leaving it a mess with and a bit of blood on the ground. It seemed that the rain the clouds were holding decided to finally fall. The raindrops hit the ground with loud splats and splashes. The sudden sound of familiar music invaded their ears.
'Make me sway..'
Said the lyrics of the song that played in the black car that was driving towards them. It was their girlfriend, Sasha Waybright. She rolled down the window grinned cheekily. "Hop in girls!"
