Summary
Kiara didn't think her parents would follow through with their threat, not after they had thought they had actually lost her for good. Yet no, once Kiara returns home (getting rescued from "Poguelandia"), her mom decides to send her straight off to a camp for "troubled girls". The Pogues find out after it's too late, not even getting the chance to say goodbye. After time goes by, they begin to move on with their lives, assuming that Kie will turn up one day. That is, everyone except for JJ. Her absence takes a larger toll on him than John B, Sarah, Pope and even JJ himself expected. And after a year goes by, and there's still radio silence on whether or not Kie is even alive, it drives him to the breaking point.
