Emet-Selch died in the Sundering, and Hythlodaeus is the only non-Convocation member who didn’t. Many, many years later, a young Miqo’te named Rivh’a meets a strange man with a broken purple crystal and a promise to protect him--but his actual plans, and who he actually wants to save, may not be to Rivh’a’s benefit after all.
