For Miku it was a normal day, just waiting for someone to appear in the sekai, but this time it would be different because she saw someone enter the sekai, she just came over to welcome them as usual but she did not expect to see Mafuyu shaking and crying
"M-Miku..."
Miku just ran to catch Mafuyu as she had fallen to the ground
Mafuyu had a lost look with the same eyes without light that she had, only that this time she could feel her sadness, it was obvious that she was not good at all
Miku just held Mafuyu in her arms and made sure she was in a comfortable position
"Mafuyu, what's wrong?" She had to ask her, she knew Mafuyu wasn't well but just seeing her worried wasn't going to give her the answer
"I don't know..." Her voice sounded so sad, so broken
"Miku, I don't know what's happening to me, no one knows... I just feel that every day this will get worse and worse, I'm dying slowly"
"I don't want to leave 25ji, I don't want to leave the others, I don't want to leave *you*"
Miku only widened her eyes when she heard that Mafuyu said that she didn't want to leave her, she didn't want Mafuyu to leave either, her reason for existing was that Mafuyu could finally feel better from the beginning, the only thing she felt was a lot of pain and sadness when she saw that she was suffering that way
"Mafuyu may leave Miku... but Miku will never leave Mafuyu" Miku just held her closer until she could hug her well
Mafuyu hadn't quite understood what Miku wanted to tell her. It was impossible for her and Miku to continue together if she died, right?
"I don't get it..."
"Miku doesn't want to leave you, Miku doesn't want Mafuyu to leave, I know all this is difficult but Miku will always be here for you, every day, at any time"
"Please Mafuyu don't go"
So that's what she meant... For some reason that managed to calm Mafuyu enough for her to stop shaking so much, why did she feel so safe around Miku?
Mafuyu only separated from the hug to see Miku face to face, Miku really looked worried and sad for her.
Mafuyu didn't know the reason but she only felt the urge to take Miku's face slowly, closing her eyes until she kissed her, Miku was surprised and blushed because of this but she didn't break away from the kiss, they lasted for a little while until Mafuyu finally separated, she didn't know why she had done that but it was enough to calm her pain
"...Mafuyu won't leave Miku either, Mafuyu will do everything to stay with Miku" Saying that made her feel a little warm inside, is this what people call being in love?
Miku just looked at her still with her cheeks red, she just felt butterflies in her stomach and for some reason that managed to calm her down too
Miku didn't know why either but she just took Mafuyu's hands and smiled softly
"Hum, Miku will be with mafuyu, no matter what happens"
"Thanks Miku..."
Mafuyu smiled, this time it was a real smile, Miku couldn't be happier at that moment
Both were happy, the two of them would do their best to be with each other no matter what happens, until the end of the world.
