Summary
It’s been a few years since they debuted—at most three years—and during that time, so much had changed. The trio had grown stronger, tighter, and more confident in their place on the world stage. Additionally, they have greater faith in their capacity to defeat demons.
But lately, something had shifted.
It started small. Rumi had begun wearing long sleeves and oversized pants more often. At first, it was no big deal. Everyone had their off days, their weird fashion moods. But then it just kept happening when the sun was ruthless and the air was heavy with heat. Rumi would go out wearing layered clothing and long sleeves that were too tight to be accidental.
Or, Zoey noticed something wrong with Rumi, and beats herself up trying to find out what's going on.

day 3: pre-debut
“Yes,” Mira finally spoke. She got to her feet and slowly applauded, the smirk in her voice mixing with her words. “Good job, princess.”
Zoey giggled and skipped over to the two of them, bringing Rumi into a back-breaking hug. “Amazing work, princess! I’m so proud of you.”
The maknae pressed hot kisses all over Rumi’s face, whilst the latter grumbled at the stupid nickname her only two best friends gave her. Well…it wasn’t that bad, she guessed. They were proud of her for being able to show off her strength.
Maybe she should show it off more often.
And…maybe Celine will be proud of her.

Zoey sat up with her hands supporting her from behind. “Hey, pretty girl.” She winks, and Rumi’s face instantly heats up, and her heart swells in a good way.
Since they first started dating, she has been the target of constant compliments and pet names from her two girlfriends. Only her too! Those two appear to already have pet names for each other. (which supports Rumi's theory even more, but all right.)
“Aw, look at you,” Zoey chuckled, “glowing and all.”
Rumi grumbles. That’s another thing: her patterns are in tune with her emotions. So if she was sad, they’d turn dark blue; if she was elated, they’d be golden; if she was horny, lilac. Pink? Flushed, or flirty, which is rare.
And guess what color they’re flashing at the moment? You guessed it! Pink. With a hint of lilac.
Or, Rumi gets her first kiss stolen by both of her girlfriends within fifteen minutes.

“Y’know you really oughta—“ Katsuki started with a low growl, glancing back up to see who the idiot was that just ran into him. But when a pair of wide green eyes full of concern met his cold red ones, Katsuki felt like the whole world came to a screeching halt.
He blinked.
And then he did it again, and when what he was sure he’d just imagined didn’t disappear, his heart skipped a beat. For a second the world went silent. The sound of people entering the coffee shop, the soft chatter of conversation, the sound of everything all faded into the ringing filling Katsuki’s ears. He couldn’t breathe—fuck, he couldn’t even move, because standing right in front of him… was Izuku.

"Yeah, so... That's clearly not the package we were waiting for." Zoey says slowly, blinking like she’s not entirely sure her eyes are working right.
"Yep, definitely not." Rumi echoes, her voice flat but her eyes locked on the opened cardboard box with the exact expression of someone watching a bomb tick. Her mouth hangs slightly open.
They're standing in the middle of the living room, looming over the coffee table where the box had been set down. Inside, nestled in brown packing paper, is a smaller, sleeker box. Its front is taken up by a glossy, life-size picture of what’s inside, and it leaves very little to the imagination. It’s… anatomically detailed. Almost offensively so.
OR
Rumi and Zoey accidentally open a package meant for Mira, discover something very realistic (and hot) inside, and watch her get extremely flustered. Which, naturally, only leaves them with one logical next step: tease her until she breaks.
