Summary
Pomni, in search of a new home after running from her last one, finds herself in a bunker run by a madman and a psychotic child. The others tell her that it’s best to just play along, but she’s not so sure. Especially after she sees what happens to those he decides aren’t worth keeping around. There’s a world out there, and sure it isn’t the best one, but it’s far better than what will happen to them if they stay where they're at. With help from her newfound friends, she’s got to get out before Caine decides that he’s bored and abstracts them, turning them all into his own idea of a twisted masterpiece.

Summary
Pomni had a hatred for jumpscares; not only are they cheap scares, but they're also impossible not to get scared of. So when Caine's new adventure involved placing the circus inside a horror cabin in the woods excursion, she finds herself in a nightmare position. To forget the situation she's in and escape reality, Jade sneaks back to the restaurant at night to sing songs. But one day, one little mistake changes Jade. Will someone be able to get Gangle to call off the adventure before something bad happens?

Everyone (who hasn't abstracted) escapes the circus and is thrust back into the real world in the exact way they entered it. Jax is suddenly back in 2022 at the conservatory he was studying classical music at, but being back in the real world has entirely killed his spark, and renders him almost completely unable to play the violin anymore. He finds Pomni on a small urban x-ing account after scouring the internet, but briefly interacting with her reveals that she hadn't entered the circus yet. He has difficult decisions to make. Does he try to stop her from entering the circus? Or does he let her go in hopes of finding her in the future?
