   Summary

   Months ago, the Captain told his sister he would bring his new boyfriend to their mother’s for Christmas. Not a week later, they broke up, and he ‘forgot’ to tell his family, save another conversation about Letting People In.
   Enter Patrick. Best friend and lover of Christmas festivities, one of perhaps two people in the whole world who could convincingly act as his boyfriend for this holiday to help him save face in front of his family.
