The silence is so loud
The lights spark and flicker

Alastor considered himself a sensible man. He never gave in to his primitive Alpha instincts; people who allowed themselves to be dominated by something as trivial as that, seemed pathetic and weak to him.
Most of the time, he controlled his every premeditated move. Because when his heat comes, he becomes one of those beings he disgusted: impulsive, driven by the need for a partner in bed.
He couldn't even think about being sexually involved with someone; so he made sure to keep himself under lock and key during those vulnerable and uncomfortable days.
Nifty, who was highly trusted, kept his key for a week, leaving food for him only when he was asleep.
Thus, he felt that he was the most unlucky person when his heat took him by surprise, inside the Hazbin Hotel.
There were just a few Omegas around him, just Angel Dust, and Nifty. But Alastor already knew the extent of his despair if his wolf was not put under lock and key. If the heat suddenly turned stronger than usual, he might even try to take on an alpha as strong as Husk.
He didn't know where Niffty was; it might take hours to find her inside that huge place. And he didn't trust anyone else to lock him up properly.
So, while still in control of his movements, he closed the door to his room, blocking it with as much objects as he could, until his legs trembled and left him on the floor.

"Fat Nuggets!" Come on, baby! It's time to eat!” Ángel yelled as he checked under the tablecloths. His little pig had disappeared an hour ago.
"You still can't find him?"
Looking up from the ground, he saw Husk carrying two heavy crates of liquor bottles.
"No, but it's okay, maybe he's playing around. Alastor isn't roasting him in the kitchen, so there's nothing to worry about."
Husk let out a small laugh. It had been more than a year and a half since they met, and although Husk hadn't fallen for his charms, they were good friends.
"Well, good luck then."
"Let me help ya" he took one of the boxes that Husk was carrying in his arms, it was heavier than it seemed "Be honest, Husky, how much of this is for the hotel, and how much is for you?"
"Was I supposed to bring for the hotel?"
Angel laughed, and Husk smiled. He liked to make him laugh, but he would never admit it out loud.
After a long time of spending entire afternoons talking, they had gotten used to each other's company; they had mutual trust, real trust, in which they both felt safe.
“Hey, look who's up there."
Angel looked up at Husk's comment. On the upper floors, through the railing, he could see his little pig scurrying down the hall.
"Good eye, thanks!" Angel said goodbye after putting the box in its place, leaving a quick kiss on his cheek, and running instantly.
"Hey!" Husk's face flushed as Angel sprinted up the stairs, laughing.
Husk returned to his place at the bar, uncorking a bottle of whiskey.

"Fat Nuggets! Come here, my love!"
The flat was strangely lonely. It was in far corners of any room with guests.
He caught sight of the hell hog at the end of the hall, and was about to call out his name once more, when a wave of heat hit his chest.
"Oh, shit..." he didn't imagine that his heat would come so soon, he had to go to his room as soon as possible "Fat Nuggets, come on! please, we have to go to sleep, okay?"
He got closer. Suddenly, the door to the room next to him was slammed from the inside; and that really scared him.
He didn't know anyone was staying there, and he was very vulnerable.
"Come here! We need to go!"
The door was pushed open. He instantly smelled an alpha, an alpha in heat. He took Angel by the waist and locked him in with him, all in the blink of an eye.

The clock struck four in the morning. Husk fell out of his chair and jerked awake.
"Oh! Shit, my head!” He stood up, leaning against the bar, where he found Fat Nuggets looking at him wearily. "Oh, there you are. Did ya wake me up?"
He took a jar of cherries from a shelf, he had bought that one especially for Fat Nuggets. Angel was dying of tenderness when Husk told him that, until Husk clarified that it was so he wouldn't eat his.
He put some on the plate he had for the little pig; that couldn't justify it.
"Where's your dad, why aren't you with him?" He said as he watched the cherries disappear quickly. "Well, you were hungry."
Fat Nuggets rubbed his nose on Husk's arm in thanks, but Husk stopped him before anyone saw them, and charged him.
"Let's go, I'm going to take you to daddy."
He went up to the sixth floor with the little pig in his arms, and knocked on Angel's door.
But no one opened.
"I don't think he's asleep, he would never let you out of the room," Husk thought aloud, then lifted the pig up to his face to look him in the eye. "Or did he go out with Cherry and leave you at the bar with me again? I wouldn't be surprised, but he always tells me beforehand." He noticed that Fat Nuggets was a little restless "Okay, I guess I shouldn't worry, and neither should you. Let's go to sleep."
He went to his own room, leaving Fat Nuggets to sleep in his bed.
He would talk with Angel tomorrow.

Welcome to the Panic Room
Where all your darkest fears are gonna come for you
~•~
Angel knew perfectly well how his body behaved when he went into heat.
His libido was insatiable, to the point of suffocating him.
But he never dared spend those days with an alpha. He knew they were impossible to control once they decided to possess an omega, and Angel couldn't risk that much.
He didn't know any alpha he could trust in that regard.
He wanted his first heat in company to be with the love of his life. Someone he knew he would never find.
He didn't want it to be this way.
Under the domain of an alpha blinded by his body heat. For his sweet involuntary aroma.
He didn't want it to be this way.
This painful way.
Through his blurred vision, he couldn't see the face of the one who was stealing his body. But he sensed his strength. There was a big wolf inside him.
He took all of Angel's arms with one hand, and with the other he covered his mouth so he wouldn't scream. He couldn't escape.
He knew that maybe it was also because his omega was in control at the moment, and that he wanted to be taken.
But he didn't. As much as his inner wolf wanted it, the rational Angel wouldn't allow it, and he tried to run away.
And failing to do so, under a cloud of hormones, he fell asleep; as he felt the alpha come inside him.

Hell raising, hair raising
I'm ready for the worst

"Oh! Damn!"
Nifty found the hallway to Alastor's room awash with strong scents. The alpha had marked the territory so that no one could get close.
Not while he owned the omega that fell in his room.
She felt guilty. Nothing ever escaped her; and although Alastor's zeal came earlier than expected, he still felt the responsibility of that poor omega on her shoulders.
She closed the door that was ajar, not looking too much into the room, hoping that the omega had already escaped. She heard Alastor awake, and that really represented a danger. She knew that was the only thing she could do at the moment, if she didn't want to expose herself to suicide or something worse.
She withdrew quickly and quietly.

Midday.
Husk was beginning to worry.
He hadn't seen Angel, and his door was closed. If he had come back late, he might be asleep.
But Fat Nuggets was still very restless. There was nothing that could calm him down, and that made Husk very nervous.
What the hell had happened to Angel?
Because the next morning, he could no longer bear his absence.
"Almost two days missing?! Why didn't ya tell me anything, you piece of asshole?!" Cherry Bomb spoke into the phone when Husk decided to call her.
"I thought he was with you!"
" If he had stayed with me, he wouldn't have left Fat Nuggets in that seedy place! Not even with you!"
"I wanted to be a fucking optimist! Are ya gonna to help me?!"
"Fine! You look for your boyfriend in the north zone, I'll cover the south zone. Then we meet at the clock."
"He's not my boyfriend!"
"I didn't ask! See you in three hours!"
Husk hung up the call, looking at Fat Nuggets. He looked so distraught, he looked like he was about to have a panic attack.
"I'll go look for your dad, okay?" About to leave the bar, he stopped. "I can't leave you alone, Angel would kill me."
He took the little pig in his arms and they left the hotel.

"Husk!"
Exactly three hours later, Cherry was under the clock, waiting for him.
"Nothing in the south?"
"No, I looked for him everywhe... Why did you bring him?!" he accused pointing to Fat Nuggets.
"I couldn't leave him alone! Angel would..."
"He'd go crazy if he knew you exposed his baby like that!" He snatched the little pig out of Husk's arms and carried him protectively. "You're a lousy babysitter."
"I'm not his fucking babysitter! But there's no one in the hotel who has the time to take care of him, and he is very scared because he hasn't seen his slutty father in days. What did ya want me to do?!"
"Okay, let's go to the damn hotel. Perhaps your highness can help."
~•~
"Please, you have to do something!"
Charlie was noticeably nervous. She had been so busy the last week, she hadn't even noticed Angel's absence, or Alastor's.
Husk thought it a good sign to have Alastor off the map for a while. So he couldn't interrupt the search.
"I know he's your friend, and you're worried, but Angel usually has these behaviors! I bet he's fine." Charlie's words failed to calm Cherry; she seemed about to attack everyone around her for being so irresponsible with her best friend.
Husk moved slightly away from her.
"Listen, princess," Husk faced her, still carrying Fat Nuggets, "you don't know him as well as Cherry, maybe you should listen to her."
When he finished speaking, he noticed how his words managed to annoy Vaggie, next to his girlfriend.
"This isn't Charlie's fault!" He pointed at Husk. "If you knew he wasn't here, you should have told us in the first place!"
Husk was about to defend himself when Fat Nuggets jumped out of his arms and ran off, heading for the stairs.
"Well done, idiot! That pig is very irritable, and you just yell in front of him."
Husk turned and went after the pig.
He didn't need to wear himself out in this useless conversation.
~•~
"Hey, come here! Why are you running? You know I won't do anything to you!"
Fat Nuggets was on its way up to the fourth floor, and Husk was holding his patience.
But, to be honest, he didn't know what to do, or how to calm the little pig.
He only knew that he had to keep him safe; that's why he didn't want him on the fourth floor.
Alastor's bedroom floor .
"Hey, get away from that door! Do you want that asshole to eat you?"
Fat Nuggets was scratching at the radio demon's door. And Husk charged him to get him away from there.
"I've already told you to stay away from Alast-"
He stopped when he heard strange sounds coming from the bedroom.
There was someone moaning? That sounded like crying. There were also growls. And something hitting the wall in a constant frenzy.
Cries and moans. That wasn't Alastor's voice.
Husk put his ear to the door.
"Please... Let me go, stop... Ah, stop!"
A voice so familiar, it hurt to hear it.
"Angel? Angel!"
Husk banged hard on the door. He put the pig on the ground, and it ran away.
"Alastor! Alastor, open the damn door! OPEN THE FUCKING DOOR!” After hitting it, he started kicking. He was determined to bring the door down.
'Cause Angel was there.
"ALASTOR, YOU FUCKING SON OF A BITCH! DON'T TOUCH HIM!"

Still waiting, hands shaking
But these voices, these strange noises
They followed me in here
~•~
Angel felt that all the strength he could possess had been ripped from his body.
He couldn't move, his legs felt weak, and his arms didn't respond.
He didn't know how many times that Alpha had abused him. But it felt like centuries of being under his body. He could barely breathe.
Then he heard a voice. He couldn't identify it, or even know what it was saying, but it managed to calm him down a bit, even now, when he was being tied up again.
That voice, it brought him peace, and it was getting louder, just like the knocking on the door.
Suddenly he felt liberated. The alpha was forcefully pulled from him, breaking the knot, easing Angel's mind for a moment.
He didn't know what was going on. He tried to straighten up and figure it out, but he couldn't see more than two shadows fighting in the dark.
The scent of blood flooded his senses, and he fell back onto the pillow.
After a few moments, where he could only hear blows and grunts, he felt how someone put their hands on his back and under his knees, carrying his weak body.
He was an alpha, was the only thing he could find out. Not the alpha who raped his body, but one who sought to protect him.
Its scent was familiar to him, but his exhausted mind could not decipher it; so he just managed to rest his head on the alpha's shoulder.
Soon, he fell unconscious.
