TAEHYUNG
It was just another morning.
Taehyung woke up feeling tired, empty, and alone.
He opened his eyes, hands moving around reaching for his phone to check the time, only to realize it didn't really matter.
He got up from the bed with hunched shoulders, emotionless taking in the morning light coming from the windows of his room.
He moved towards his washroom to wash up all the while trying to feel something, anything.
Nonetheless, he made a small breakfast, ate, and got ready in some oversized clothes to get some semblance of reality. Lost in his mind and working on autopilot, he opened his laptop, logged in through his company portal, and started working.
While working he thought about how badly the pandemic had affected some people, losing their loved ones to this virus. But, he thought he was lucky because all he lost was himself.
After working for some hours, he thought to take a break and got up to make a snack for himself.
While eating he was scrolling through his phone when suddenly a pop-up came showing an ad from some silly role-playing game.
He thought of interacting and making friends via such a silly game but still, he went along, entertained himself, and made an account on it named 'awkwardpotato'. While trying to figure out the game, he suddenly realized his work.
He scolded himself for slacking off and immediately went back to work, completely forgetting about the 'silly game'.
JUNGKOOK
After drowsily waking up to his alarm, jungkook cursed himself for staying up too late last night playing games again.
He quickly got up to get ready for his university, when suddenly he remembered 'everything's online now'.
He chuckled lightly and grabbed his laptop to attend his lecture that he was gonna doze amidst of anyway.
During his second lecture, to drown out the boring voice of his professor he grabbed his phone and opened the role-playing game he installed a few weeks back on the whim of his university friends.
While scrolling through it, he across a new account name 'awkward potato' which he thought was quite funny, and sent a friend request hoping to interact with them.
After a few minutes, his professor started taking attendance, so he closed the game and payed attention so as to not miss his roll call.
All the while not forgetting about the new account he sent friend request to.
