Summary
Denki Kaminari and Kyoka Jiro are dating. That is, until Kyoka comes out and confesses to Denki that she is a lesbian. Hitoshi Shinso and Neito Monoma are secretly dating. That is, until Neito loses it and refuses to come out of the closet. Now Denki and Hitoshi are both single, confused, and heartbroken after the loss of their first loves. It's coincidence that they're experiencing this at the same time, but it's fate that has them both sitting on the dorm's roof top at 2 AM. They quickly realize it's been hard to process their feelings on the matter, as Denki's friends are also Kyoka's friends and Hitoshi... well, he can't exactly say much to his friends without them connecting the dots. Suddenly, Denki is struck with a bolt of inspiration. Together they will form a club- The Lonely Hearts Club. An after-school club with Denki and Shinso being the sole two members. Together, they can use the club as an opportunity to work out all their relationship baggage without having to inundate their actual friends or feel judged. It's a win-win situation! At least it was supposed to be... Who knew a harmless, unofficial, school club with 2 members could result in so much laughter, drama, tears, healing, and even love?
