Finally, after yet another week of school at Luna Nova, the weekend was here. This one was different, however, as Headmistress Holbrooke decided to let the students go home for the weekend. Lotte and Sucy were planning on going to their separate households, leaving Akko alone.
…Or so she thought.
Akko was gazing down at the phone that Constanze put together for her when she received a text message from Diana.
Are you planning on doing anything this weekend? she asked.
No, Lotte and Sucy are going out of town, which means that I’m gonna be alone, if you end up going back to that lovely mansion of yours, Akko replied.
A few moments passed by as Diana typed out a response to what Akko had said.
I was hoping that you would come with me back to the Cavendish estate.
Another pause.
…So we can spend some time together. Away from Luna Nova.
And if you wanted to, since Aunt Daryl’s finally gone, you could regress in peace. I know you haven’t in a while, and I know you’ve mentioned having a little day before.
I’ll be there in about an hour to get you if you want to come.
Akko’s eyes sparkled as she responded back to her girlfriend.
Omigosh, I would love to, Diana! she typed before hopping up off the bed and racing to start packing her bags. As she did so, she accidentally bumped her head on the upper bunk bed, startling Lotte.
“AH! Akko, what’re you doing?” she asked, looking up from one of her editions of Night Fall. Akko just shook her head, rubbing where she hit it. Sucy looked up for a split second from whatever concoction she was making, then shook her
“Nothing! I’m just getting my stuff together! Diana invited me to come with her over the weekend, so I’m packing my stuff up!” The brunette continued to gather her things, throwing them one by one into her backpack. She packed a couple day’s worth of clothes, as well as some other things that she would need for the time away.
Lastly, she pulled out a moderately sized, but still small, box. It was pastel colored and decorated with gleaming gold accents, spiraling all around it. Turning her head after noticing the sheen out of the corner of her eye, Sucy found Akko trying to discreetly shove said box into her bag, which was a struggle since she had all of her other belongings in there.
“...What’s in that box? Can’t you just take the stuff out and put it in the bag without it if you need what’s inside so much?” Sucy inquired, quirking an eyebrow.
Akko promptly tried to hide what she was doing, but to little avail. “N-nothing’s in there! It’s just empty… It’s a gift for Diana, that’s all!” she declared, waving her hands in the air. Sucy shrugged, and went back to her potion making, bringing out another mushroom to test with.
In reality, the box wasn’t for Diana, and Akko knew it. The container held the items that Akko used while she was little, and even though Lotte and Sucy knew that she regressed, the brunette had never mentioned anything about having little items. Hidden away in the container there was a bottle, a sippy cup, two pacifiers, and a paci clip. They were her little treasures, and Akko would use them if she was alone or with Diana while little. Akko managed to rearrange her things to fit the box into the bag before sitting back on her bed and waiting for Diana to come pick her up.
About another half hour passed until there was a knock on the door. Atsuko plucked her bag off of the floor and waved to Lotte and Sucy before opening it and finding Diana waiting for her.
“Are you ready to go, Akko?” Diana questioned, to which Akko grabbed her hand and nodded, closing the door. Diana blushed slightly and the two of them set off to the balcony where Diana originally to become the heir of the Cavendish estate. Boarding Diana’s broom, they flew to her grand mansion, which didn’t take too long, though the two of them were hungry upon arrival. They ate after settling in and setting down their belongings, and then returned to Diana’s room, where they talked for a bit before getting in bed.
“Hey, Akko… how long has it been since you’ve last slipped? I know it hasn’t been anytime recently… since you usually text or let me know when you’re small…I just wanted to know so that I could know if you would rather slip tomorrow or the day after,” Diana queried, looking over at her girlfriend next to her in the bed.
“Hmm… definitely more than a week or two… I think I’d rather slip tomorrow, if that’s fine with you!” Akko answered with a grin. She snuggled her Shiny Chariot doll in her arms as Diana planted a kiss on her forehead.
“Good night, my love,” Diana whispered before turning over and starting to doze off. Meanwhile, the wheels in Akko’s head turned as she thought about what tomorrow could possibly bring for the two of them.
Maybe we’ll go out to town.
Maybe we’ll watch a movie.
Maayyyyybeee I’ll get a new stuffed animal!
I don’t care, as long as I get to finally be little and as long as I'm with Diana, I’m happy!
