Theres no such thing as love at first sight…..right?

I don’t know why Todd hired him, or why Mike recommend him. But all I know is that I felt a strange feeling when I first saw him.
It was a icy cold February and I knew it was going to get colder. I was walking briskly across the Nintendo parking lot when I saw someone aimlessly wandering. He seemed to be looking for something. I decided to approach him, he had deep red hair and a bright shade of emerald green eyes. He sparked something inside of me but I didn’t know what it was yet. “Hey, are you lost?” I question with friendly expression. He turned toward me and replied “yeah, I hate to admit it. Can you lead me inside, im the new intern” we had a few of those this week. I nodded and began to lead the way. His voice was so calm and composed.
My first day no one came to help me at all. We finally made it to the building and I scanned him in. “Welp, were here. Now I gotta go. The wii isn’t gonna develop itself” I said in a hurry. I rushed away just in time. People passed by me saying things like “Your the new intern, nice to meet you im ———“ or “Austin! Im glad you made it” Austin huh, I looked back at the man who a had striked a strange feeling in me, I saw he looked uncomfortable by all the attention. I stopped to watch, suddenly Todd startled me out of my person watching, “Henry, if your so interested. Go say hello to Mr. sanders instead of watching” I nodded and walked towards him rehearsing the lines in my head “Hello austin, im henry nice to meet you” “hello austin, im henry….” I was right in his line of sight.
He made eye contact and I immediately forgot my lines, i looked away and said “Hi, im henry, meeting you was fun” i felt my cheeks turn red then I rushed off. From the corner of my eye I could see Todd snickering and shaking his head. I didn’t want to think about that experience ever again. I just wanted to work.
I just wanted today to be a normal day…..
