Marcy is squished between her two girlfriends, Anne and Sasha. She hears Sasha's not so gentle (and not so cute) snoring, and knows Anne is close to falling asleep as well.
"Um. Anne?"
"Mmgh. Yeah Marcy?" Anne mumbled.
"Would you uh. Would you still love me if I was a worm?"
Anne is silent.
"Anne? Would you?"
"What the hell, Marcy."
Marcy huffs, "you aren't answering the question!"
Beside her, Sasha twitches. With a groan, she opens one eye. "What are you two doing up? I'm trying to sleep."
"Anne doesn't love me," Marcy said dramatically.
Sasha, who Marcy already asked a few nights ago, sighs, "no Marcy, if you were a worm she'd likely stomp on you."
"Hey!"
Then Anne kisses Marcy on the forehead. "But we love you now."
"Yeah stop wanting to be a worm," Sasha pokes her.
Marcy's face flushes. "Okay, but if I turned into a worm like right now, would you still love me?"
Anne made a face of disgust. "No I'd put you outside."
Sasha bats her eyelashes and says, "I'd flush you down the toilet."
"You two are so mean."
Sasha and Anne kiss her again.
